Roadhouse Casino Value Chip Sale Thread - SOLD OUT (1 Viewer)

Sometime we get 100s in play in my .25/.50 game and that could be a problem. I can't believe I still haven't found a chip to relabel at $1 a piece or less.
if your game sees $100s in play.. just put your winnings from one sesh into getting nicer chips and you won't have to worry about finding a worn out frac :)

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I missed out on the $2.50 chips (they were sold out by 3:15-ish!)

thank you so much for typing this entire post up (I read the entire thing maybe 5 times). it made a lot of sense but in the end, I missed on the pink $2.50 chips I wanted to use as my 25¢ chip. I did end up purchasing others at a similar ratio to the one you laid out and will need to find something else to become the 25¢ chips. thanks again!
There’s a casino near San Diego (I’m in L.A. ) that has bright orange THC hotstamped fracs that they use on the 4-8 table . I have amassed about 60 in 2 days I’ve gone and played, gotta kinda work the table a bit to get a stack, because players are usually only sitting on a few each.

Maybe look around local for something like that? At .50 it’s worth a trip a bit further to harvest a little collection :)

Yeah, I can’t really picture the $100s actually “playing” in that game, you could just commit to getting a few more barrels of $25 chips. I personally like playing with stacks, I imagine most people do.

There’s nothing worse than that awkward moment in a tournament where you just have that one lonely 5k chip left. “Hey buddy... can you make change for me...

And if your cash games are anything like ours... if a guy gets his rocky little hands on the big chip, it ain’t leaving that stack unless it’s pure rockets. It’s gonna get cashed out. Haha

speaking of which, there's tons of casinos out there with worn RHC blue $1s that would be perfect for this... off the top of my head i'd say those Agua Cal---- something chips would work perfect that I got from @BSteck

Edit: these

For planning/relabelling purposes, what is the base color of the $500 (blurple?) and do any of the Horseshoe chips have the same base for comparison (cinci or cleve)? Or either of the Native Lights $500s?

Thanks
Grant

There are some solids (although I think they are RHCs) available in the classifieds. Those would work fine as quarters, since you missed out on the snappers.

Is this all sold out now? I’m assuming making a 500 T-1 set is out of the question? :S

WHat kind of cash game set can you make from this if any?
A 1/2 or 1/1 set, pretty easily. A 2/4 3/6 or 4/8 limit set. A 5/10NL set... Basically any cash set you want sans fracs...

WHat kind of cash game set can you make from this if any?

100x $1
400x $5
100x $25

would be sweet for a $1/$1 NLHE cash game... even a $2/$5

100x $25
200x $1
200x $5

would be sweet for a 25c/50c cash game... using the $25 as a 25c. Could also plan to find some quarters elsewhere and use the $25 chip as a $25 for rebuys... then you'd only need 40x.

If you can relabel fracs any reasonable one you want.

100 x relabeled fracs
300 x $1
300 x $5
100 x $25

Could let you handle .25/.50 through 1/2 (assuming your 1/2 games aren't pretty crazy)

100 x fracs
200 x $1
180 x $5
20 x $25

Would get you through .25/.50 single table games easily if you are trying to keep things cheap.

EDIT:

Or if you wanted to use Shaggy's advice about using the 25s as quarters and you like the Garden City 20s:

100 x $25 but use them as fracs
200 x $1
160 x $5
40 x $20 (Find any black chip and relabel them as $20)

The point is you have options!

I have a similar cash game. I like

200 1s
200 5s
100 25s

That’s 3700, that covers pretty much any game me and my friends would ever play, by a huge margin.

If your game is anything close to that big you don’t need quarters. :)

Also, I just have 200 day glow peach h-mold chips that I could use for quarters or whatever. My experience is that it’s okay if the quarters break the set, but the fact that they are pure blanks makes them work with anything,

Just get a rack of starbursts and downplay the use of the quarters. :)

So no shipping notices on this one? Or they prob just haven't been sent out yet via Jim. Getting that crack disc fever knowing my fix is on its way. :ROFLMAO:

Anyone? I guess no-one has received one of these yet to compare...
