Paulson chip fake? (1 Viewer)

Hello guys,

I've had these paulson chips for a bit less than a year now, and when I bought them it was very mint, almost identical to new.
Recently I've noticed some noticable edge paint wear offs, as can be seen below.

Is this normal for a paulson chip after one year of use? (I play every weekend once)
I've read from somewhere that with Paulson chips, the edge paints are inlayed, so even with wear, the paints don't fade.

Are these fake ones? Or is this something that happens to all paulson chips?

Would appreciate your opinions and experiences.

That’s what we call “hooker juice.” They need a bath, those spots will scrub right off. It’s just built up residue.

After a good wash they‘ll look like new!

Use some Luke warm water and dawn soap and magical cleaner and those dark spot will come off

What a relief! Thank you guys!
I was told that cleaning your chips is not ideal as you want some of that natural oil, for easier shuffling and better feel etc.
Just curious, how often do you wash your chips?

If you have a lot of them, buy an ultrasonic cleaner. There's a great thread about this somewhere on the forum.
You're clearly shuffling like crazy.!!

You don‘t even need to shuffle them to get gunky chips.
They collect even more dirt by grabbing them separately or sorting from a pot!
