My bosses are a husband/wife team about to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.

Is it appropriate for me to get them a gift? And if so, any ideas what I should get or how much I should spend?

If they are good friends of yours then a gift would be good, but if it’s just a business work relationship I’d do something that involved other employees you work with.

Pass a card around the office for everyone to sign. If desired, also do a collection and get a generic gift like a restaurant gift card. Card should be plenty in most workplaces.

I don't expect gifts from anyone for my Anniversary with my wife. Its ours to celebrate.

If they are really good friends of yours. Then sure, if not. It could look like your trying to suck their ass.

Maybe that’s what he’s trying to do.

Then it would be better to let your boss know that you Organized the group, Set a Goal and Target, Executed the buy, and then Monitored the rotation for each person to do their part, and then you personally made sure it arrived on time, was the expected quality, and was on budget.

Happy Anniversary!

I've worked in small, family-run businesses for the majority of my life. With this particular company I live half a mile from work, I'm their #1 lead guy managing the entire fleet and office staff. I've been to their home and out to dinner with them, had drinks, gone golfing, bought my first home AND my first brand-new car working for them, etc.

So I feel like there's a level of personal relationship there that a gift would be received with appreciation, just kinda struggling on what would be appropriate. Thanks for all the suggestions, keep them coming!

Oh yeah, for their anniversary they're taking a mini-cation to Disney in state. I've never been to Disney, so not sure if there's something at Disney I could setup for them in advance or whatever as a nice gesture.

There is a Keys to the Kingdom tour. Takes you through the underbelly of Disney, and you get a cool pin afterwards (the Key pin is highly sought after, from what I understand). we did the tour on our honeymoon years back, and it is still one of the best things we've done there.

I think I'll pick them up a Disney Gift Card that they can use at the Resort for whatever they'd like, and maybe a bottle of Champagne to go with :)
