I know the original post says you can't order a rack of each, primary and secondary if you're alloted a rack of one denom, but say we were alloted 20 $1000 chips, can we get 10 primary and 10 secondary or do they have to be the same?

You can mix primary and secondary in your breakdown, as long as the total still falls within the % limits.

I for one am bowing out of the frenzy... If there are any chips that I want still available after the first few hours (unlikely), then I’ll probably pick some up. But I leave the feverish button-punching to the rest of you! GL

So what happens if I try to order 3 sample sets, and only 1 or 2 are available at that time?

I am not a bot. I can't click fastly.

I assume when you go to place the order, it will tell you sample sets are not available and then your order will not go through. The risk is, by the time you go to downsize it to 2, those could be gone.

There should be a separate link for sample sets, so you're not gonna hafta do a bunch of clicking. And if you get it right when the sale opens, you should be good for three I would think.

Is anybody interested in some Greektown bicycle tires? They are like the rookie card of the Detroit Jack chips. And their condition shows how durable they are, as they've been used for a long time.

For pricing, just pay the face value of the next chip up the line (for quarters, jump two chips).

PMs only. Better act fast, as I will fill orders on a first come, first scammed served basis.
I'll take a rack of $1s

My mom used the original Tandy/Radio Shack laptop for work in the early 80s, and uploaded stories via modem (an acoustic coupler to our phone line) to her newsroom.

This one:

These had great battery life and were excellent for rough drafts/note taking at meetings my mom covered as a reporter (sometimes 5-6 per week). IIRC, she would then load the text into our Apple ][+, edit it at home, and upload via a modem (probably as low as 300 baud). It too several minutes of horrible squelching/squeaky noises to accomplish, but it meant she could come home after a meeting at 9 pm rather than driving to the newsroom, filing the story there, then driving home.

I changed the format of the 1st thread a little. The text below the images will turn live at 12:00. Those are the links you will need to press to add your chips.

Just for clarification, text will go live at 12 EST but the sale itself doesn’t start until 2 EST right?
