Figured I'd start a new thread dedicated to identifying the main differences between Cleveland and Cinci Horseshoes. I'll start off with what I'm able to see right off the bat without being very experienced in them:

  • Cleveland 25 is darker green than bright Cinci 25
  • Cleveland 500 is pink vs Cinci violet/purple
  • Cinci 25k edge spotting is brighter color scheme

Just a few to start it off. Feel free to chime in.

They are completely different chipsets, past the horseshoe name and the mold. Past that, completely different I believe.

Cinci is in better shape too and a bit more common then Cleveland.

Only the $1 chips are on a different mold.

Edit: The Cleveland $1 chip is the only odd ball on the THC mold and the rest of the 39mm chips are RHC.

Same branding but different locations. This means the chips are different the same way all chips differ (colors, spotting, and sometimes mold/size) besides them sharing the same "Horseshoe" name and logo.

Main purpose actually was because I wasn’t sure if there were several different production years out there and differences within as well...similar to CDI years and differences with those.

Other than spot colors and base colors (and cities), they’re exactly the same...Paulson chips!!!!

I mixed in the Cleveland 25k and debated the 500 but majority is Cincinnati

the spelling is the BIGGEST difference.... you can't spell Cincinnati without writing the letter N less than 3 times.... Cleveland is a bit more efficient in that it only requires 1 N.....

Ok guys, this punching bag has gone from broken-in to shredded and guts on the floor

Considered selling the set?

Just out of curiosity what's your budget for a new set like? I have a feeling you would be shocked by the price of these. Let's just say the 25k chips sell for $25ish per chip. There are plenty of high rolling ballers on here, I'm not saying you aren't one of them, I just know when I joined the prices of some chips blew me away.

All depends on the size of the se

All depends on the size of the set really and I just expect to pay fair price for their current estimated value. I’m ok with 2.5-3k to get a nice decent tourney set and then budget for some more to be spent later when I’m able to acquire some more to add onto it.

Meh, I actually like the Cinci’s more from what I’ve seen. The colors and edge spotting are more vibrant. Cleveland 25 green for example just seems very bla to play with, all due respect to the chip lol

This makes me want the Cinci’s more, and while we’re on that note, which one of you done it? I ask because I want that batch and none other hahaha
