I left an unopened can of Rockstar in my car last night and this is what I found this morning...

Left my checkbook in my car yesterday while I went to a doctor appointment. Then I drove up to my landlord's office to pay my rent. When I opened my (normally soft, flexible) checkbook, the cold had made it so stiff and brittle that it snapped clean in half.

RIP Washington Mutual checkbook. You were a good checkbook all these years. Even outlasted the bank that gave you to me.

I am not bashing you at all, just to be clear, but am laughing a little at the recent threads about cold weather on the forum.

The cold is just a regular day, and it can stay quite cold for weeks on end.

This is part of a provincial secondary highway for a few months of the year where I live, though the last few years it’s been taking longer for it to freeze up enough for use

They did a news story on the schools in Detroit closing due to the cold and how a few miles over the boarder in Windsor, most of everything was open. The Canadian in the story seemed to get a good chuckle out of it. Rightfully so in my opinion.
