Best post I've seen from a newbie in quite awhile.
As someone said before, I'm not a native English speaker and therefore unworthy, so I have to clarify a point, when you say "Brownies are cake " you mean Mexicans are easy to beat (at poker or some sport?)
That's your opinion. But you weren't here when the first sensitive thread started, so don't act like you knew what was going down!
....Yet another also, you probably haven't noticed, but I don't post nearly as much as you think I do any more.
....And cereal is a soup. Change my mind.
very often I see pictures and discussions about Empress and Empress Star
However I was not able to find a background or a history of those 2 chips sets.

Nope. Pacific Star is a real boat. Even had a casino. It was in the Starlite Cruises fleet. Look it up on chipguide.com.I think the Wiki page should be edited to remove the Empress and Pacific Star ships, because they aren't, never were, and were never intended to be ships. I don't think anyone would say that all of the fantasy casinos on custom chips should be listed in a list of all casinos. Amiright?
Close but no cigar. Chips were ordered by an overseas registered corporation that theoretically provided casino operations to cruise chips. Only one person was directly involved with the corporation. Everybody else provided the financing needed to make the purchase. All I really know is that a group of people got together and pretended to be a group of investors starting a casino in order to get the chips made.
Pipes and Vapes....okayYou beat me to it. Great minds... no 420.
There was nothing interesting on Netflix and you wanted some late night entertainment.
Was just jokingI swear, I have no horse in this race.
I thought that Argosy's Empress was primary chips and Empress Star some kind of secondary never used.
I did not event make a relation between Empress Star, Aurora Star and Pacific Star
WedgeRock kindly explained me a bit, then the rest is extra fun

Cat got your tongue?
Thanks BGinGA. Like I said, it's hard to sift through it all. I gave up quite a while ago. Has anyone wrote the movie script yet? Actually I'd love to know if there's a thread where someone lays out the whole story. It would make a great episode for This American Life.Nope. Pacific Star is a real boat. Even had a casino. How many holes does a straw have?
Hot dog is definitely a sandwich. Imo a sandwich is meat in between bread. The type/shape of meat or bread is irrelevant. And how ironic that the history of the sandwich comes from a man that wanted something portable to eat so he didn't have to get up from a gambling table to eat dinner.
A straw has no holes.
