what are Empress and Empress Star ? (2 Viewers)

Makeup can be cakey, but that doesn't make it cake. Brownies can be fudgy, but that doesn't make them fudge. Birds can be turkeys, but that doesn't make them a country on the Mediterranean. (;))

Nope. Pacific Star is a real boat. Even had a casino. It was in the Starlite Cruises fleet. Look it up on chipguide.com.

Close but no cigar. Chips were ordered by an overseas registered corporation that theoretically provided casino operations to cruise chips. Only one person was directly involved with the corporation. Everybody else provided the financing needed to make the purchase.

I swear, I have no horse in this race.

I thought that Argosy's Empress was primary chips and Empress Star some kind of secondary never used.
I did not event make a relation between Empress Star, Aurora Star and Pacific Star
WedgeRock kindly explained me a bit, then the rest is extra fun

It was a true, honest, n00b question

Thanks BGinGA. Like I said, it's hard to sift through it all. I gave up quite a while ago. Has anyone wrote the movie script yet? Actually I'd love to know if there's a thread where someone lays out the whole story. It would make a great episode for This American Life.
 
How many holes does a straw have?

Hot dog is definitely a sandwich. Imo a sandwich is meat in between bread. The type/shape of meat or bread is irrelevant. And how ironic that the history of the sandwich comes from a man that wanted something portable to eat so he didn't have to get up from a gambling table to eat dinner.
