Royal Flush
I have the same problem with Mr. Low Stacks at the F&CPT games. He plays a big pair on a flushed/straightened/paired board like the nuts... He thinks he has it, and I've folded better hands to him, I'm sure of it. But I've also called 3rd and 4th nuts against him only for him to show down the nut hand. It's frustrating. No matter how far ahead I am, he always seems to get there.
I've learned to avoid speculative hands against those type of players, always play in position, and never bluff a donkey. I may miss some action, but I also avoid ending my night on a sour note.
Your villain plays pretty face up, he doesn't get too tricky, other then calling middle pair for stacks, getting out flopped and hitting a river miracle, that is. I like him as a person, tho...nice guy.
I do appreciate you feeding the fish last night. Keeps them coming back where (hopefully) I can empty their pockets at a later time.
