2-color bridge size with blackjack index.

I've only played a live game with 4-color decks once. The blue and green inks were somewhat iridescent, and I found them very difficult to read. Maybe if they had regular ink . . .

I am avoiding red backs @CdnBeerLover ;)

@desjgn please reconsider offering Red/Blue backs, all setups should be have that color combo available & every other company in the world besides @#$%ano:poop: doesn't seem to have a problem making Red back decks that aren't marked right off the printing line.

Any Bridge/Jumbo with a new back design would be cool.

So would a Red/Blue reprint of the Classic Culture cards.

Agree that 4 color decks are a novelty and don't like to play with them but I would probably still buy a couple of setups just to have if you offered them.

Faded Spade has a four color deck (poker size)

For those that have not used them my crew is very traditional and doesn’t like change, one player has said he would leave if we did shuffle behind again, however they all seem to really like the four color decks. One player also claimed that I owed him a thousand because that’s what it’s cost him over the years of not playing with them.

I don’t recall if I’ve ever played with a 4 color set up IRL but I’d buy some if you made them.

That being said, I voted for “something else” but don’t have any ideas as to what that would be.

I'm waaaaay more interested in bridge size cards, but I voted for 4-color decks.

I personally love the index size on the CCs. Perhaps they are J Design standard, but they are certainly larger than KEM/COPAG standard index. IMO it's a perfect size that's a little larger, but not freaking huge so much that you can't peek 5-6 cards when playing Big-O or SOHE.

I'm interested in BJ index also, but not as interested as I am in a 4-color deck.

From your casino pdf link I love the crosshatch, weave, and emporium. But your civilian designs are super classy.

I also agree your index size is great and think the Blackjack would be big enough. I like seeing as much of your face card artwork as possible.

Did I mention bridge size.....oh yeah ....I did... :whistling:

Wow I have never seen the casino catalog. Group buy!

Bridge size, plastic acetate, 2-pip blackjack in Classic Circle or Classic Emporium.

Always preferred Jumbo Index (failing near sight vison), but that middle Blackjack size looks niiice, with the larger center image.

Are any of the current Desjgn offerings using that middle "Blackjack" size font?
If not, an enthusiastic thumbs up for that middle size!!!
It reminds me of the Fournier 2826 series with that "medium-Jumbo" index, which is my all-time favorite font size (and spade design) of any I've ever seen (at least with 100% plastic cards). It has that good balance of refined clarity without being flowery.
Just my take, of course.

And if the blackjack index is on poker size, is it a deal-breaker?

4 color deck would be great. PLO players like it. Needs to be bridge size though and preferably a larger sized index.

Only bridge. That is the only reason I don’t own a sample of every style you have. I absolutely love your cards but hate poker sized cards more.

....And I strongly believe more people would use bridge sized if they gave them a try.

Out of the ~30 set ups I own very few are poker size. Two are because that’s the only size for 4 color. The other two were before I knew better and never used. Not counting the paper Bee’s for travel/kids. But yeah basically exclusively buy Bridge.

Not for me. Prefer poker size.
Maybe big hands? :nailbite:

You've played with bridge?

Admittedly I have large palms and short fingers, so bridge are easier to handle for me. Still I don't see how having larger hands and moving from poker to bridge size would be too detrimental, just easier to handle.

I would not be interested in the 4 colour deck. I kinda like the idea of new colours for the Victorians - maybe Gold/Silver or Black/Teal... Poker Size I actually still like also. So i would say just more colour options.

Anyway, bridge is much preferred to me and my players. Poker sized wouldn't be a deal breaker for a 4 color deck but I'm more likely to be a repeat user if bridge.

Most casinos use bridge.... Just saying...

I have large hands as in I buy large sized gloves. Bridge still feels better.

I’d be happy with just Bridge sized reissues of all your poker (can we rename them “oversized”? ) sized designs (y)
