Host called before the game last night and asked if I could bring a setup. I said “sure” and I asked if he need chips also. Answer was “no” which was what I expected, but I seized the opening he gave me.

So the big winner at our last game (who happens to be the best player) can’t for the life of himself understand how to stack his chips..... :ROFLMAO:
It took 10 minutes (with help) for him to be able to count out everything then cash out. Over $650 there.

Hand him some racks when it’s time to cash out! (Better yet make him play out of racks!)

Some of the nicest looking cheapies, IMO.
Yeah, they really don't look that bad. The problem, as I'm sure you know, is that they're made of this super-hard-and-slippery plastic.

Several years ago I got a sample set of these, and I couldn't even keep 7-8 of them stacked. I have no idea how you guys manage to stack barrels in your game without having them collapse every few minutes.

Slippery is right -- and every single chip stack in that photo isn't squared up, except the one barrel that's in a rack. :banghead:

They don't look bad individually at first glance, but they don't play together very well (at least not the tourney sets I've been forced to use).

Y'all got a dedicated dealer out there in Salina?? Nice!

Yep. One of our regular gals that plays likes to deal. She does a really good job. We rake $1 per hand for her. Players also tip her. Works well for us and she makes some extra cash to lose back to us in our regular Tues night game. :ROFLMAO: We don’t care if it’s legal or not because in KS our games are not legal anyway.

They are horrible. But I can’t insult the host. He likes them.

You can’t.

The host is a very successful contractor. No need to pass the hat. Just need to get him to see the light.
Next time he hosts, simply take along a rack of King's Casino $5 chips with you (your total cost = $13, his potential loss = $500 when you ask him to immediately cash you out, please.). That should do it.

Or maybe it doesn't take brains to be a successful contractor, just stubbornness. Try hitting him in the wallet. :)
