I’m selling a rack of argosy 25’s. Planned on relabeling them and found a 25’s that goes better with my set so my loss is your gain. Couple hours work removing labels is done. Then cleaned. Ready for relabel. $200 shipped US only.

From the videos on here. Razor knife, cut 1/2” from edge at almost a flat angle, popped up the last part of the cut, then used small needle nose to pull it up til I could get it with my fingers. Most laminates left part of the actual label under still stuck so I used a little nail polish remover w/o acetone, let sit a minute then pulled the rest with my fingers. Pretty easy but time consuming.

I'm completely new to this, found your ad here. What did you remove label for? Is this common thing to do in this community? For a custom? Just trying to learn, and looking for Argosy chips. Thanks for any info

You can remove the labels and relabel with almost anything, i.e. a label you drew up or a copy of an existing label. These chips had a stamp on the label that someone cleaned off but after the hot stamp they were pretty bad. I don’t like destroying chips that are rare or have a lot of value with their original label but if there’s a million of a chip out there (or in this case the label was already destroyed) I don’t think it’s bad. Others might disagree. You can also label over existing labels so the chip is still intact but usually they don’t look as good. Also some people like a set of chips except for one denomination so they will replace it with another chip and relabel it to that set.

Not sure how much knowledge you have about Paulson chips, but they are regarded by many as THE best chips. You can't get customs made anymore, they only make them for casinos. Or if you 'know a guy'... (Search for Aurora star, Empress Star)

So if you're like many of us and want a custom set of Paulsons, this might be your only option.

I had to go the cc route the more I looked at Paulson's the closer divorce door got. I got the Pharaoh's and will revisit Paulson's at a later date. I'll probably go the grand Vic route

Yeah, they're not cheap. To some of the people on this site, a drug habit might be cheaper. :D
