Sold 4V418 Jerry's Nugget Barrel (Live THC) (1 Viewer)

If I was able to get a full rack of these, I would probably just keep them - incredible edge spot and casino worn enough that I wouldn't stress about actually using them in our games! But alas, I have not seen any of these come up for sale in a very long time and perhaps somebody has been waiting to fill out their rack.

These are all casino-used so expect a few flea bites. There are 2-3 VGC chips in the mix and I hope that somebody has a trick to getting the older chips to shine as bright as the new ones. (You should be able to spot the newer ones in the pictures)

Asking $49 shipped (I forget the size of a SFRB, so either that or MFRB) to wherever a flat rate box goes! My price justification for a live chip at over 2x face value is based upon my effort to go off-strip during a work trip to gamble in order to find these, sorting through the large inlay RHC's that make up about 70% of the chips they have, cleaning, and shipping. If you have an issue with this - I urge you not to purchase them

Another note; my dad tagged along and pocketed a barrel for himself - basically same condition as these, if you would like me to ask if he would sell his, I would be happy to find out.

I've run into an issue - @flipupchipup sent me a DM and @kmccormick100 posted on here within 15 seconds of each other. Upon checking the email notification time stamp, @flipupchipup did send the DM 15 seconds quicker. I really hate to disappoint somebody over a 15 second gap.

I think (as OP indicated in his post) that they have both THC and RHC chips in play, and the THC are much more rare to come across (OP indicated about 70/30 mix RHC/THC).

The cage won't sell any, they don't have a poker room, so you have to try to harvest them from table games and only maybe 20% of the $1s in circulation are THC, less in good shape.

When you find yourself a few blocks off the main drag of the strip in Vegas, you'll realize that not everything is glamorous high rise casinos. Jerry's Nugget is a quick walk from one of the larger homeless shelters in the area - I wouldn't park my car here if they didn't have full time security roaming the parking lot. There is certainly more sketchy places I have gone (usually for the purpose of seeking out chips that nobody else has) but I am assuming most chippers on vacation would not venture out this way (or their SO's would not be too happy to go play craps at a dive).

I'd be interested in a PCF Vegas meetup where we go on a harvesting tour of off-strip joints so everybody knows it's not as easy as walking out of the Bellagio with a couple of singles

(Edit; I have work trips in Vegas about every other weekend, that's the main reason I find myself off the strip)

I'd guess that almost all of the THC mold versions are already in the hands of "customers" -- either as souvenirs, collectible singles, or barrels/racks mostly belonging to members here.

^ And this. I've been to the casino exactly one time, around 3 years ago, and just going by memory, I'd say the % of the THC mold chips (in good condition) was closer to 1 out of 10 or 20 chips. I was able to harvest a barrel or 2 while playing $3 or $5 craps for a couple hours, and while talking to the dealers and the cage person, they said the new (THC) chips had been popular with collectors, so a lot of them had already been purchased/taken. It's a small casino that wasn't busy the night I was there, so unless they've gotten a new shipment of $1 chips in the last couple years, there are probably less in circulation today.
