I have never owned a flask. I want to. Most likely will be sipping some decent scotch or cognac.
Maybe the $6 amazon special will do, but sorta looking for something a little "classier" or high quality? Or maybe there's not much difference between $6 and $120. That's why I need help
I've done some online research, but I figure the qualities that make a good chipper might make a good flask critic, and I know a few of you out there have some *looking at you Official PCF Whisk(e)y Thread*
Stainless steel vs pewter? Both rust resistant? (as I understand modern pewter flasks won't have the lead risk)
Leather bound or no? (I like the idea of soft leather to hold, but have read that can permanently stain easily)
I'm thinking 6oz.
