Thanks to everyone for their feedback, especially @Ray-Col for providing a modified mock-up, in an effort to address the concerns. Okay, my photo editing skills are non-existent, so please excuse the rough looking mock-up I did using PowerPoint. On the left is the original that David is prepping for production... on the right is something I slapped together to address a couple of concerns a few of you had... (1) PoCo appearing to not be centred because of how close the corner of the "P" is to the edge versus the "o"; and (2) the plainness of the font.
(1) The trouble with just moving PoCo over to the right is that it will not be centred with "AFTER DARK". If I move both, then it's obvious that "AFTER DARK" isn't centred either.
(2) The font choice was specific as I was aiming for a clean look as well as avoiding too much white so that the gradient wasn't overpowered. As the OP was about enlarging the font size anyway, I certainly don't mind looking at different fonts to achieve the same results.
The mock-up on the right shows the only font that appealed to me... the swooping "P" allows "PoCo" and "AFTER DARK" to be treated as one object for centring, and it certainly isn't plain looking. If I go with the fonts on the right, everything else will carry over from the previous design (stars, crescent moon and gradient), although exact spacing and sizing of the fonts will need to be fine tuned. Again, the one on the right is not final... it is just a concept.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I like that fontThe original Poker After Dark font is called friz quadrata bold. Maybe give it a try with this style.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I'm intentionally avoiding this font and similar looking ones. The original Poker After Dark font is called friz quadrata bold. Maybe give it a try with this style.

Don't know why I didn't think of this before but perhaps just italicizing the "PoCo" and then returning the "AFTER DARK" to regular (middle chip)?

This actually could be achieved with a plain font, too - if you just extend the vertical stroke of the P downward to the baseline of 'after dark' and thus bringing them together.... allows "PoCo" and "AFTER DARK" to be treated as one object for centring
I was being lazy, er uh, efficient again and trying to see all possible numbers at once. Those chips would make betting more interesting for sure.I like your 2150 chip...how....exciting!![]()
Ask and you shall receive...Congrats, mate! Heck of a first order/design. What breakdown did you go with?
Are sample sets going to be made available? If so, I'd love to get in on them!
At about $5/chip I can only afford a few of thoseHaha sorry man. But it does look great with the addon. You only need a few of those too.
You are so right on this... I like the font but I want the moon to stand out... idea scrapped. In the second design you really have two design choices competing for dominance, the more stylized font and the moon.
I knew what you were aiming at... it was others that mentioned about the P being too close to the edge and so I was trying to address both.My original suggestion that the font looked plain was aimed at the denominations, rather than the "PoCo", to be honest.
Sorry, I didn't explain myself properlyThis actually could be achieved with a plain font, too - if you just extend the vertical stroke of the P downward to the baseline of 'after dark' and thus bringing them together..
I prefer the original font to the more stylized option. When it is italicized the moon may appear to be an L, and you don't want that.
I agree... thanks!I'm not fond of the italic version as the L-effect @superchromix mentioned struck me as well.
Not digging the all caps idea but agree with a serif for the chip value... thanks!Go with all caps, and/or get a font with the serif.
Oh man, that's awesome! In for a sample set with the new 10k. Either 2k works.
These look great! I'm in for a sample set if offered (y)
