So I'm sitting in bed at 3am thinking, "what can I achieve today?" It has to be something meaningful, earth shattering, and beneficial to all of mankind.

AND THEN IT CAME TO ME...completely out of the blue!! Hmmmmm...I wonder how high I can stack poker chips??

I jump my ass out of bed and head to the basement to complete this earth shattering, never before attempted, task.

Spoiler alert: 440 chips.

I KNOW!!! AMAZING right!! Anyway, my honey do list is complete for the day and the sun isn't even up yet.

Here are pics of 200-400...and the result of my attempt at 460. I know, I know. No pron...then it didn't happen. I should have taken pics in 20 chip intervals when I hit 400.

Anyway. I'm REALLY curious to see if anybody can get other types of chips (especially Paulsons or TRKs) to stack higher?

LMAO!!! Yes...unfortunately I was sober, which was NOT supposed to be the case. I was scheduled to go out with the fellas for drinks after work, but had to cancel because my wife got the stomach flu.:coffee: Although, I likely wouldn't have achieved 440 chips had I been drunk (especially if I were drinking gin-n-tonic). Probably more like 40

I was actually thinking the same thing last week. I wanted to see how how I could go. Never got around to it, but I was going to take our duvet and surround the tower on my wooden floor, just in case!!!

No chips were harmed. Some were a bit shook up and need some caressing (i.e., shuffling), but all survived.

Does it have to be on the table to qualify? I would think the floor would be ideal. No foam padding to account for and less distance to crash down.

Sure. In hindsight, I should have gone with the floor. I had to stand on a chair, which made me and the chips wobbly at the same time.

I've gotten over 400 Boardwalks in a tower, but that was mixed 39mm and 43mm. Also, I didn't take a picture over 400, so I have this shot with 365:

I have a 500 piece set of Paulsons, so I may try this tonight if people are late showing up for the game.
