Dunes owners unite ............... (4 Viewers)

I'm waiting on some samples from @Apache to arrive in the mail. Hopefully 3 weeks or so. Tossing up between Dunes, Majestics or Taj Mahals.
 :ROFLMAO: I was such a noob back in August; thinking china clays were like the real thing. I'll never make it into the club proper but I do have a 'associate' member question.

I'm second guessing the spot color on my CPC Dunes homage set $1. Do the Dunes Owners Club collective think it's closer to CPC Chocolate or Maroon?

if you are asking the spot color on the original dollar, paulson chocolate

Uh-huh, but is Paulson Chocolate closer to CPC Chocolate or CPC Maroon? In some photos, it looks darker than others but photos can't be trusted due to lighting etc.

Chocolate is closest.

Question about the yellow $1000 Dunes chip. It has “grainy” look to it, is this just a result what Paulson use to mix in with their chips? What colour “yellow” from Paulson is it meant to be? I couldn’t quite match it with my “newer” Paulson colour samples. Same goes with the white?
Or is it something else?
I’ve noted white chips like Crystal Palace and Vineyards hundo’s are the same. But my assumption there was metallic flakes for weight in the phasing out of lead in chip materials.

I think it's some type of weight additive, like the ASM chips
