Quick post about my first tourney for this 2026 WSOP.

Event #101 $70 Mini Mystery Millions Landmark Satellite.

10k starting stack, 10 min blinds.

Super new dealer gives us only 3-4 mass per level (!)

Played 6 levels and now on break.
I’m 2nd in chips at my table with 22,000.

Blinds now 500/1000/1000.

Here we go!

Why are they still using Caesar’s chips? Caesar’s sold to GG a while ago, didn’t they?

On a short 10 minute break.

It’s a landmark satellite. The goal is to hit 100k chips as that gets you a ticket to the main tourney (and they take your chips out).

Was up to 47k and took a hit when my 99 lost to 88 (flopped a set).

40 players left for 11 remaining tickets.

I still have 33k and a prayer.

Hero in BB, after posting 8k in ante, shoves for 38k on top with

Villain calls and rolls over

Villain hits 4 runners on the board to make the 5-9 straight

BUSTED in 14th place (no ticket)

Follow up…

Immediately walked over from the Horseshoe to the cash poker corral at the Paris and won my first hand ever of casino 1-2-5 PLO for +$250 !
