Cash game chip breakdown advice (0,50-1, future proof up to 1/2 or 1/3) (14 Viewers)

Thanks! Yeah they aren't as widespread. I too definitely enjoy them due to the chill nature of it and no elimination.

Indeed, the options locally are very limited.. So the 25% VAT sucks. 😅 F. Ex when browsing poker shop and logged in with Norwegian account, the prices will show without german VAT though. So just 6% extra compared to their tax. And the exchange rate is better than its been for a while. 😊 I found the price per chip to be reasonable.

Would you allow 0,50 chip to be used in bets post-flop or only pre-flop? If the pot isn't very big, then I suppose the 0,50 can be warranted.

Scrap the fracs. 200BB's is plenty deep for a social game. If players within your group would like for the game to play bigger, you can raise the max re-buy amount to 300BB's at the midway point of the session. Simplifying is good.

The set is already bought. So I did weigh my options, but I ended up not skipping it, for several reasons:

1) I wanted the option to use have a lower stake than 1,1, so I could even use 0,5/0,5 if I really wanted a small game with beginners.
2) Using it is optional, it's "just" 100 of my 700 chips, my set still work well with f.ex 1/1 or 1/2.
3) The 0,5 chip was pretty... :love::p
