$20 x 52 cards = $1040 prize pool

Express your interest below. Once we get to 52 participants, I'll start collecting money (PPFF or Zelle).

I'll randomize the list of participants, then assign cards to the list in new deck order (ace to king of spades, ace to king of diamonds, king to ace of clubs, and king to ace of hearts -- so the first person on the list gets the ace of spades, the second person the deuce of spades, etc.).

On the last hand of the 2026 WSOP ME, if your card hits the board, you win:

Flop: $100 each card
Turn: $240
River: $500

Who else is in?

I lost $50 in the Kentucky Derby pool. First thing I learned in Gambler's Anonymous: Chase your losses. If it works for addicts, it's gotta be the right thing to do!

I’ll be in but shouldn’t those cards that are in the final hand get something? Kind of drawing dead even if you take the $40 out of Second prize and give each hole card $10 at least it’s something.

Maybe I should just stay in my lane.

Was at the DE meetup for the Derby…

Our table was dead set on placing a wager for the race, despite not knowing: any of the horses’ names or their odds; how many horses are in the race; and whether each horse has a number (or whether that number corresponds to the numbered gate which they come out of at the start).

Lost that (damn you #10 for getting bullied out of the way in the last stretch), so I’m chasing losses as well.

I think I did that the last time I ran it.

$X for winners hole card and $Y for losers hole cards, with contingencies if it was a double knockout, etc. Doing just the board cards was simpler, because there will only ever be one board.

I thought about making the turn $200 flat and then throwing a bonus $8 if your card was used to make the final hand, but again, if the winner holds KK and the board is K444x, which 4 gets excluded?

KISS.

Plus, half the field is full based on the payouts announced. I don't want to change them now.
