How is it that on this forum, people bemoan 2-hour tournaments because they are "just flips", then invent games that are JUST FLIPS!?!Scarney-corn called.
10s are with zero for the point part of the pot and if you discard all your cards, you scoop.

I’ve thought the exact same thing. I’ve started to look into mixed games to show my friends and some of them it’s like “wait, should I just be playing every single hand to the river??”How is it that on this forum, people bemoan 2-hour tournaments because they are "just flips", then invent games that are JUST FLIPS!?!
I'm never going to argue that these games are the truest form of poker, but there is actually more information than appears at first blush in a game like Scarney. There is *some* strategy involved. How is it that on this forum, people bemoan 2-hour tournaments because they are "just flips", then invent games that are JUST FLIPS!?!
That makes about as much sense as playing every limit hand to the river. Maybe it's be fair to say you should always see a flop, but seeing every river is a recipe for stack disaster.“wait, should I just be playing every single hand to the river??”
I’m just being dramatic as it seems some of those games will have 52 cards in play each hand lol. That makes about as much sense as playing every limit hand to the river. Maybe it's be fair to say you should always see a flop, but seeing every river is a recipe for stack disaster.

FYPThe higher the variance, the stronger your starting hand needs to be. PRE-Flop discipline is key!
Had to keep my boy leashed up next to me… last time he went all-in on the Chinese food, and wonGolden retrievers are such fun dogs. Does anyone want mine?
Was too busy hosting to take action pics (or keep an eye on the dog, evidently). In for $80, out for $200 minus one Lucky’s $1.
