Trying to reach a user who has been inactive for a short while (1 Viewer)

I reached out to @Eloe2000 last week to ask for permission to use his artwork. They hadn't logged in for some time, but then logged in on Monday. Sent another message but no reply. Anyone know them and able to reach out?

I wouldn’t spend more time trying to contact him.

In general, people don’t like sharing artwork - especially personal pieces. Even if the intent is good, there’s always a risk it gets reused or misappropriated. We’ve seen a few rip-off sets over the years (Eloe was actually a victim of one) where art was basically copy/pasted from threads.

Even for non-personal artwork, it can still be a hassle.. tracking down the latest version, hosting it, etc.

Also worth noting that a lot of folks don’t log in frequently because they want peace from notifications. When they do, they likely have a backlog of PMs, and responding to all of them takes time they’re trying to avoid.

I’d assume no response is your answer and move on.

Yep, completely get that for personal artwork. The work I was interested in was already shared by them in another thread to be used by someone else. Just wanted to reach and get permission for my use as well.
