This GB is basically at the finish line! Nearly all orders have been fulfilled/shipped, with the vast majority of them already delivered!
I will be dropping off an order this Saturday in person. One package is pending reshipping payment and address confirmation. And I'm also waiting on some decks to be sent back to me, due to a mix-up on my part, before I can ship out what should be the final package of the GB!
This GB was a
big bit overwhelming, both with the # of types of decks involved, and the sheer volume. I'm slightly annoyed at myself for messing up an order, but considering I packed up ~400 decks across ~30 orders, and got almost all of them shipped out in 3-4 days, I guess I'm also pleasantly surprised that it was just the one mistake!
I need a nap.
Also, why does Modiano not have properly-sized tuck boxes for their decks?!? Their boxes are all slightly larger, which means they have the potential to crumple if outside pressure is applied, since the cards inside do not fully fit and therefore do not help reinforce the tuck box.
Hopefully none of the Modiano boxes got too mangled up in reshipping. Should be a symbiotic relationship: Box protects the cards; deck protects the box!
And also why no cellophane on the outside of the tuck boxes? Fournier does it!
