CARDMAGEDDON is upon us (or me, at least)! Two boxes from Lithuania have been delivered. I almost killed myself getting the heavier box (~40kg, ~88lbs) up the stairs to my apartment!

I will spend the weekend inventorying and prepping for reshipping next week. I will prioritize packages roughly based on distance and order size, and for those who picked up extra cards when someone dropped out off the GB and/or gave up a few of their EPT setups to help out @B0mbp0t, and for the few who sent "beer money" or rounded up their payments--Thank You!

If anyone has urgent "need" for their order to be shipped early/quickly, please respond to our PM correspondence. I can't make any promises, especially once the package is out of my hands, but I will try to accommodate.

I believe I've contacted everyone in this GB via PMs to collect for reshipping costs and to get shipping addresses. If you haven't heard from me, or if I haven't confirmed your address with you yet, please reach out!

FYI - I inventoried the cards multiple times (since the last GB had a slight mixup) and all quantities appear to be correct. There was only one minor issue with some of the decks. If you recall, the 2818 poker/jumbo (in red, blue, green, orange) and the 2800 2826 bridge/jumbo (in red, blue) come only wrapped in cellophane, no tuck boxes...

During shipping some of the 2800 decks tumbled around inside and the cellophane wrapper came apart. Interestingly, none of the 2818 decks' cellophane came apart, though some are slightly loose.

There were only a handful of 2800 decks that had this happen, and I made sure each deck was complete before rewrapping in plastic wrap. I am distributing them amongst the folks who ordered multiple 2800 decks (no more than one deck per color per order). The cards looked new and undamaged and should still be usable...

I am working my way through packing boxes and purchasing shipping labels. I have already started sending out tracking numbers and am should be able to make it to the PO today to drop off the first of the shipments. I am aiming to get everything reshipped out by the end of the week.

This GB is basically at the finish line! Nearly all orders have been fulfilled/shipped, with the vast majority of them already delivered!

I will be dropping off an order this Saturday in person. One package is pending reshipping payment and address confirmation. And I'm also waiting on some decks to be sent back to me, due to a mix-up on my part, before I can ship out what should be the final package of the GB!

This GB was a big bit overwhelming, both with the # of types of decks involved, and the sheer volume. I'm slightly annoyed at myself for messing up an order, but considering I packed up ~400 decks across ~30 orders, and got almost all of them shipped out in 3-4 days, I guess I'm also pleasantly surprised that it was just the one mistake!

I need a nap.

Also, why does Modiano not have properly-sized tuck boxes for their decks?!? Their boxes are all slightly larger, which means they have the potential to crumple if outside pressure is applied, since the cards inside do not fully fit and therefore do not help reinforce the tuck box.

Hopefully none of the Modiano boxes got too mangled up in reshipping. Should be a symbiotic relationship: Box protects the cards; deck protects the box!

And also why no cellophane on the outside of the tuck boxes? Fournier does it! /rant
