PCF Cigars (35 Viewers)

It’s been awhile since I’ve checked in on this thread. Damn this is tasting good and is relaxing after a long day of work!

As if I needed another expensive hobby to go along with the poker I already invest heavily into, I guess I'm a cigar guy now? Had one a couple of weeks ago at a golf outing in the desert (Macanudo Inspirado, no picture unfortunately) and it was such an enjoyable experience.

Rewind to a year ago when a friend gifted me two or three cigars at random (stored in a Boveda sealer with packs, I researched how to keep them nice) and I'd just never found the time to enjoy one of them. Smash cut back to last weekend and I gave one of those gifts a whirl, an Avo Uvezian XO.

This was an even better experience. Not only did I get to relax and take my time and not have to focus on anything other than the cigar, I spent a good hour and a bit chatting with my wife in the night breeze, listening to some music, having some laughs. An overall tremendous night.

Since then I've made two trips to my local cigar shop, placed a rather large order with Holt's, have another order pending from CI and picked up a humidor. After the first trip to the local shop I picked up a cheap little travel humidor from Amazon, but that was immediately filled so I figured I needed to go big...

I went from a toe in the water to a full-on cannonball and figured I'd live by the PCF motto of "Buy once, cry once". So I'm now the proud owner of a Daniel Marshall autograph 165-count box in the gorgeous burl finish..

I can't wait to get this baby up to stabilized humidity and get it filled up so it can take its place on my bar top with all of my other goodies. I've even set up an excel sheet with my inventory and made a QR code for it so that I can show people what I have without having to open it up all the time.

Suffice it to say, I'm in deep and looking forward to everything to come and the relaxing evenings of quiet smoke...

Now back to the beginning of the thread to find some new and interesting suggestions for my next local trip and huge online order!

The mention of Tampa Sweethearts here trigger an Arturo restock for me too. Pics in a couple days. Perf to get some rest before the summer.
Tada! The box of Masterpieces feels a bit silly but for a good while they were limited to one stick per order and so decided to just lock down a whole box when I saw it was available. There’s never a lot of stock on these so I’m sure they’re going. The box will be going right into aging humidor.

I see the rare Andalusian Bull. Had to buy that sampler I guess. Have you had one before? They are delicious and strong!

I have had 3 of them. Almost pulled the trigger on a box once… I should have. That was def part of the reason for buying the sampler and I think CRA knew that lol.

Killer haul!

What did you think of the Rare Pink? I have one of those resting at the moment and I'm interested to get some first-hand insight.
I really enjoyed this one, I love the Signature size so this was a great cigar for me. Last year I had a Rare Pink Work of Art and didnt care for it at all.

No cigar today.

Yesterday it was 82° and beautiful. Today it's 35° and windy as fuck.
