Usually on Mondays I run a 40~50 player T1 tourney starting at 500 starting stack (10/8/10/2), that finishes in ~3hrs.
Rather than having levels with 1s I had the 500IQ idea to just start at 5/5 for two levels and 5/10 for two levels. Its the same as 1/3, 2/5, 4/8, 5/10.
Also saves on change making for the ppl that put in 8 instead of calling with two red chips, and now I dont have to color up 1s. And the rest of the tournament plays the same.
5/5 instead of 1/3
5/5 instead of 2/5
5/10 instead of 3/8
5/10 instead of 5/10
5/15 instead of 6/12 or 8/16
10/20
Since I'm hauling these chips it also means I save on 8 chips per person (2 extra reds, but no half barrel of T1).
Am I missing something, was this not a 500IQ change?
