Cleaning old chips (1 Viewer)

Hi all!

Is it sufficient with only hot water on old poker chips? Or can I ruin the chip?

But never hot water on chips regardless.

Just a general question on used casino chips, planning to buy labeled used. But afraid I might ruin the label by putting water on them?

Depends on the chip. Paulson inlays can often be submerged without issue, but can still be problematic, especially older ones or shaped inlays. Other brands of chips can be more troublesome, but it depends on which one.

I have cleaned thousands of chips with 40c water without issues.
