My Tiger Palace rarity chart, by desirability. Rows are not sorted.

If I'm wrong on any of these happy to hear your thoughts.

You can fool around and create your own tier list at:

You’re missing their personal hot stamp sets in the unobtanium row…
Its classified in the sense I dont have individual scans for those lol. Like I know some people somehow got unobtanium but those are a tier above unobtanium lol. Maybe National Treasure tier or something not sure what to call it.

Lol, do you guys even chip? Come on man…
Dunno. Looks like Hello Kitty hacked up a furball to me.

Between the Tigers and the last couple years of HOF inductees, I see little difference.* Bright fluorescent colors seems to be the way to win people's votes or $$$ anymore.**

Just not my taste. Give me a coherent set with well thought out colors and spots and a legible inlay design and you might have my interest, but I've always been an outsider when it come to things like this. Another reason why I wouldn't last two days in a marketing job. I'm just not that into what's the trend of the moment.

* (I abstain from the HOF voting and have from the CT days mostly because IDGAF. Also, I asked for one of my sets to be excluded from consideration years ago for a similar reason)
** (not always, but more often than not)

Could be wrong, but I might switch the avocado $25s with the secondary 50c fracs. I feel like I could find a rack of the avocados anytime, but I've not seen the 50c since I bought a rack over a year ago.

EDIT: The Russets might be upgraded to unobtainium at this point, too.

Everyone thinks the chips they got are rare lol. There are peach ones available and green ones available at this very moment.

Are you equating availability (or lack thereof) with rarity?

I feel like they are 2 different things.

If a Mickey Mantle rookie card is for sale, then is it readily available?…and not rare?

Actually yea. Now that I look at it that is indeed the metric. If there was a rack of the unobtanium $500 for sale in the classifieds at $10,000 then it would be readily available.

Price shouldn't be the driving metric because anyone can get money.

We also never got a production breakdown to my knowledge. We know how many of other sets there are, like AS and ES, but @JeepologyOffroad and @kk405 never revealed how many of each chip were manufactured.

I knew he was the designer. He wasn't involved in the distribution at all then? So then KK would be the only one with the knowledge of how many of each were manufactured.
