Custom Shuffle Tech 1000 rolling cart (2 Viewers)

Hello!

Purchased a used Shuffle Tech 1000 from @SPR a few months ago. A friend of mine that's a carpenter built a custom rolling cart for my Shuffle Tech.
Thought I'd show it off.

Here it is:

Turned out exactly as I wanted:

• Tiered on purpose - wanted my drink holder to be below the ShuffleTech (just in case)
• In addition to the drink holder, there's a small (removable) holder for other stuff - DBs, Bomb Pot buttons, All In buttons, Kill buttons, or whatever
• One drawer that holds up to two stacked racks of rebuy chips (I'm good with one rack) and a separate section for cash plus additional room in the back of the drawer for whatever (cards, etc)
• A small open section underneath that currently holds the ST1000 cord/plug-in, a small extension cord, and the cord protector

Dimensions: 12" wide, 22" high, and 22" deep. It may seem short, but I absolutely love the height and it fits perfectly under my table.
The ST1000 is easily removable with one bolt on each side. Plus, there is noise cancelling foam on the inside and ventilation underneath the ST1000.
And it's not heavy, so it's transportable.

Love it! I have one in a rolling file cabinet. I recommend buying a small power station for it so you don’t have to run an extension cord.

Awesome, love how the shorty can slide under the table! Have you had to do any maintenance or repairs on your shuffle tech? I've heard they can require some upkeep, but I know you've only had it a couple of months

Thanks! Yeah, only had it a few months, but it's been great with no problems. (only used Copags so far too...)

Man I love this setup!! I’ve been contemplating getting a shuffle tech but I hate to say this my biggest draw back I have right now is I have so many bridge size setups it’s absurd! Have your tried bridge size cards in yours? And if you have, have you had any issues jamming or being extra noisy?

I own two shuffletechs and two deckmates. If you use bridge size cards with a shuffletech, you’ll spend more time fixing jams than playing cards. I had hoped it fell in the “not recommended, but still works” category. Not so much.

I’ve also seen rumors on here that shuffle tech might be releasing a new one soon. Does anyone know if that’s true?

I own two shuffletechs and two deckmates. If you use bridge size cards with a shuffletech, you’ll spend more time fixing jams than playing cards. I had hoped it fell in the “not recommended, but still works” category. Not so much.

Also since you own both is it worth getting a shuffle tech or just save up and get a deck mate. I see the benefits of having one at my game but I just don’t know if I can justify a multi thousand dollar shuffler.

Depends on what cards are used in my experience. Before I got a D*ckmate I borrowed a ST and bridge or bust, very dependent on what cards and how clean they are.

I confess I only tried Copags and Arrows from group buys for bridge sized cards. They were all brand new, however. I just spent a lot of time unjamming cards and got fed up after an hour or so and a few deck swaps. Obviously, those cards work fine with the Deckmate calibrated for them, so I decided to simply move on.

I’d say it depends on how often you play, how long your sessions are, etc. if you’re playing a couple times a month or less, the Deckmate is a wow factor and quite cool, but accomplishes the same objective, only quieter, which I never even cared about. If you’re concerned with longevity, there’s no doubt the Deckmate is built like a tank and designed to be run 24/7. It’s a large expense, to be sure. But, much like Paulson’s vs ceramics…they both do the same job. One holds its value fairly well and is definitely nicer. But, they both accomplish the same goal.

Definitely take @Jers28 and @RocAFella1's advice.
I've only used Poker-sized Copags - and no complaints so far. Haven't tried Bridge-sized. I've used the ST1000 for about 9 games now and I've only had to manually fix a jam twice - no biggie.

Extra noisy? It's a little noisy I guess, even with the noise cancelling foam inside the cart, but no one has made any comments on the noise. Guess I'm the only one that can really hear it since I sit right next to it, but it doesn't bother me.

The only update I'll add is I followed @Timmah's advice and added a small power station that fits in the underneath section. After a long game there was still more than 75% battery left. Thanks @Timmah!

Again, very happy with it so far, especially since I just can't justify the cost of a DM.
