Okay, thanks. I don't think those are particularly common chips.
Paying $4.50 a chip for relabled RHC $1 chips is a little crazy, considering you can walk into most casinos and pay $1 for RHC $1s.
Of course, uncommon chips can be worth more money, but less so if they've had their inlays removed.

Yeah, very few of them out there. IG $1s or another white RHC $1 might be a better choice.

Alright yall it looks like I'm replacing the controversial IOCs with 260 Paris $1 THCs. Thoughts on converting the relabeled $1 IOCs to $500 somethings for optional tournament play? And what $500 inlay should I relabel them to? This would bring my denomination breakdown to:

100 $0.5 Terrible RHCs
260 $1 Paris THCs
200 $5 GOAT Aztar RHC of course (I will never change these no matter what direction this set takes)
100 $25 IG secondary RHCs
100 $100 Harrah's House mold
100 $500 XXX

I wouldn’t use the IOCs and Paris $1s in the same set; they’re basically the same color.

Aren’t you less than a week in? At this rate the Aztars will be gone by the end of the month lol.

Wait until all the chips come in, see what you prefer, and build a set around those chips. Then hope you didn’t overpay too much when you sell the other chips to buy more chips.

Or just cut to the chase and buy a NAGB set like the Lucky’s, Rancho Agaves, or Tigers.

I think this is great. It’s a party set! Colours are sharp. I also unironically love the Aztar 5s but the Terrible’s work too.

Yes, those are $2.5 IOCs relabeled to $500 Terribles and $25 Indiana Grand Secondaries relabeled to $25 Terribles. The plan is to switch out the $100 Harrah's with $100 Terribles whenever I can find a rack.

Great set! Welcome to the fold. Despite what anyone says, none of your players will care about the chips, the consistency or condition, and definitely won’t give a second look to stack heights.

As years have passed for me, I’ve learned nobody really cares. I could put out dice chips and they won’t bat an eye.

Put the effort into food, drink, tables, and comfort, at least that is what I focus on. Also easy shuffling cards.

This hobby is very self indulgent for me.

Good job making those few adjustments from where you started. I made the Aztar mistake when I first started, lol. I still love oversized inlaid chips though.
