Ooooh bigger taking the lead
TIL there's a rival poker chip forum, I just googled it and it looks nearly identical lol. This is some McDonald's/Wendy's shite hahathe "other" chipping forum that seems to have some bad blood with this one.
its like some kind of schism happened.
So where are we at with this Sean? Any thoughts on what the mold will be? At one time Star mold had some traction.Ooooh bigger taking the lead
It is 2026 so I will probably chat with Tina after they get back from Chinese New Year's about another mold. I know Web Mold is selling well but Jester might need to pick up before they do another mold. I will have to check with them.So where are we at with this Sean? Any thoughts on what the mold will be? These designs from @TheOffalo look good and have a 1" (25.4mm) recess.

It isn't selling as well as Web mold did. But that was info that is months old so the "MIGHT" in my statement is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Is Jester not selling? I thought its been relatively popular since release. It seems to have the most positive feedback after web mold. I honestly thought sun and greek were struggling more.
I just got 2200 jesters and I aboslutely can vouch for how great they are.
My personal opinion - Jester mold was a mistake. It's too polarizing. While I know that some love it, many also dislike it, and it seems to only go really well if you already have a whimsical inlay design. I would be surprised if it ever becomes as popular as the more neutral designs. It is 2026 so I will probably chat with Tina after they get back from Chinese New Year's about another mold. I’m currently contemplating a patriotic 250th anniversary chip set. This would be a perfect chip for that! Reminds me of thisSo where are we at with this Sean? Any thoughts on what the mold will be? At one time Star mold had some traction.

The feeling of the 43mm Tina H&C (not hybrid!!) is amazing. Way superior to the Web 43mm.So you can get the hat and cane and scrowns via Justin? Are there 43mm versions of these?
Personally, I love greek mold, but the 43mm greek mold with the tiny inlay area looks positively ridiculous and out of proportion.

Not slippery AT ALL! They feel like clay to me.
Have to disagree. I love the larger label size as it gives room for more legibility with creative designs. There is still plenty of chip to seeBro
No way the 43mm Greek mold is the only hybrid I really like. I WANT MORE CHIP LESS LABEL IM ON POKER CHIP FORUM NOT POKER LABEL FORUM WHY AM I SHOUTING
But in seriousness it would be nice to have smaller label options for 39mm rather than all the molds labels being the same size. The textured surface is pretty satisfying to the touch and tickles my brain . The label however does not. It’s the main reason I dislike RHC and large inlay paulsons
Yeah, seriously dude. Calm down. To each their own. My custom inlay is very detailed. The bigger the better. It's not like the inlay (label) is not also an important part of a poker chip. Otherwise, then you should stick with the non-hybrid chips as they are 100% chip and no label. Or maybe plain chips with no markings at all. You know they make those don't you? White =$1, red =$5, etc. You're right, it's the POKER CHIP forum. No need at all for any inlays, labels or hot stamps.Bro

They are not all the same size. That's the entire point of this thread. And I'm not pushing to get rid of the molds with smaller label recesses, I'm pushing for variety. Bigger recess for people like me who want bigger labels. And keep the smaller ones for those like you who want more chip showing. But in seriousness it would be nice to have smaller label options for 39mm rather than all the molds labels being the same size. Look at the OP again. The 39mm recesses (and matching labels) vary between molds from 23.8 to 25.8.really? all the 39mm chips available through justin have the same 24mm label size
what molds are there with a different label size?
Dude, you are not making any sense. Yes, you are somewhat correct. MOST of the existing 39mm molds available have a smaller recess - 23.8mm. In this thread, many of us are asking for another option with a bigger recess. It sounds like you prefer the smaller recess, so what are you bitching about? You already have several options. And yet for some reason you don't want there to be one option with a bigger recess? GTFO!> They are not all the same size

if youre referring to the 43mm chips then yeah greek is smaller than the others but thats about the only choice
Probably not, the site at large would probably shit a brick if the mold was copied. RHC mold is basically shunned as it stands.Bigger label is better, all for 25.8mm on 39mm chips. Any chance of a 43mm IHC-like mold to go with the 39mm RHC?
IHC-like would be perfect. As long as it’s not a hat, and not a cane.Bigger label is better, all for 25.8mm on 39mm chips. Any chance of a 43mm IHC-like mold to go with the 39mm RHC?
Can I lay the cornerstone? We could probably build our own cardroom with all the collectively shat bricks if that happens...
I love where this is goingIHC-like would be perfect. As long as it’s not a hat, and not a cane.
