So you can get the hat and cane and scrowns via Justin? Are there 43mm versions of these? The extra label size would have made my Belagio homage set look better. The labels are about 2mm smaller than the real chips which threw off the proportions of the text I used. I also think is may have darkened the gdue to the size reduction of the file

You can get hat and cane but I dont think you can get scrown. I think you have to get scrown through the "other" chipping forum that seems to have some bad blood with this one. Why? I have no clue and have never seen an explanation. I would frankly love to know the story there.

Right!!! I'm really waiting to hear the story. This is clearly the larger original one, but its like some kind of schism happened. From what I can see, the other site is far less concerned with things like copywrite or proprietary work.

So where are we at with this Sean? Any thoughts on what the mold will be? At one time Star mold had some traction.

These designs from @TheOffalo look good and have a 1" (25.4mm) recess.

It is 2026 so I will probably chat with Tina after they get back from Chinese New Year's about another mold. I know Web Mold is selling well but Jester might need to pick up before they do another mold. I will have to check with them.

Is Jester not selling? I thought its been relatively popular since release. It seems to have the most positive feedback after web mold. I honestly thought sun and greek were struggling more.

I just got 2200 jesters and I aboslutely can vouch for how great they are.

It appears that most casino house molds have a 1" inlay and I think there's only 1 mold with words on it. Would people be interested in one for home games that said something like "Poker Room" or "Card Room" and had suits on it? :spades::diamonds::clubs::hearts:
Something like that might be cool and usable for a lot of designs

It isn't selling as well as Web mold did. But that was info that is months old so the "MIGHT" in my statement is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

My personal opinion - Jester mold was a mistake. It's too polarizing. While I know that some love it, many also dislike it, and it seems to only go really well if you already have a whimsical inlay design. I would be surprised if it ever becomes as popular as the more neutral designs.

Personally, I love greek mold, but the 43mm greek mold with the tiny inlay area looks positively ridiculous and out of proportion.

Bro

No way the 43mm Greek mold is the only hybrid I really like. I WANT MORE CHIP LESS LABEL IM ON POKER CHIP FORUM NOT POKER LABEL FORUM WHY AM I SHOUTING

But in seriousness it would be nice to have smaller label options for 39mm rather than all the molds labels being the same size. The textured surface is pretty satisfying to the touch and tickles my brain . The label however does not. It’s the main reason I dislike RHC and large inlay paulsons

Have to disagree. I love the larger label size as it gives room for more legibility with creative designs. There is still plenty of chip to see 😉.

Example - I did a Bellagio homage using my name and replacing Las Vegas with the area of Italy my family is from. My father who is a graphic designer design recreated the label. The Tina labels are a 4mm smaller than the real Bellagio one and it made the word underneath too small to even read. (I also think the smaller label made them print darker). Had I seen proofs i would have adjusted the scale …

It’s the little things..literally

I’m looking to do 43mm Web or the 39mm H&C or smooth solely because of the increased label size

but we dont get that with these.

Yeah, seriously dude. Calm down. To each their own. My custom inlay is very detailed. The bigger the better. It's not like the inlay (label) is not also an important part of a poker chip. Otherwise, then you should stick with the non-hybrid chips as they are 100% chip and no label. Or maybe plain chips with no markings at all. You know they make those don't you? White =$1, red =$5, etc. You're right, it's the POKER CHIP forum. No need at all for any inlays, labels or hot stamps.

They are not all the same size. That's the entire point of this thread. And I'm not pushing to get rid of the molds with smaller label recesses, I'm pushing for variety. Bigger recess for people like me who want bigger labels. And keep the smaller ones for those like you who want more chip showing.

> They are not all the same size

really? all the 39mm chips available through justin have the same 24mm label size
what molds are there with a different label size?

if youre referring to the 43mm chips then yeah greek is smaller than the others but thats about the only choice

Look at the OP again. The 39mm recesses (and matching labels) vary between molds from 23.8 to 25.8.
It doesn't seem like much, but its quite a bit different when looking at the real chip.

Dude, you are not making any sense. Yes, you are somewhat correct. MOST of the existing 39mm molds available have a smaller recess - 23.8mm. In this thread, many of us are asking for another option with a bigger recess. It sounds like you prefer the smaller recess, so what are you bitching about? You already have several options. And yet for some reason you don't want there to be one option with a bigger recess? GTFO!

Bigger label is better, all for 25.8mm on 39mm chips. Any chance of a 43mm IHC-like mold to go with the 39mm RHC?

We could probably build our own cardroom with all the collectively shat bricks if that happens...
