Alibaba High Quality Casino Chairs (with discount!) (1 Viewer)

In case mine didn’t get posted to all the right spots, I’m loving them. Tonight is week 2 of action for them. So far, so good! Took 74 days from the time I wired funds until chairs were delivered. Will post an update after they’ve had 40+ hours of seat time to verify the foam holds up, but so far, I’m impressed! I didn’t use Gavin, I used another vendor, but had no issues.

Just a disgusting setup bro! Disgustingly sick! I’m beyond envy and really bordering extreme jealousy.

Beautiful!

Amazing chairs Jersa28 and jfmav, who on Aliaba did you go through so nervous to use it. $1k for 10 chairs delivery included? Thanks
I used someone called Francis Liu. It was right at a grand for the chairs and another grand for shipping and tariffs. All-in was like $1,980 or something and that was with some add-ons, like the club logo, sliders replacing wheels and the blue stripe.

Thank you! All but one rack on the table in that particular pic were newly acquired Tiger Palace chips. There’s a complete Cali claw set pictured and the bulk of a Vegas colored set. They just happened to be on the table when the chairs arrived to see how everything (chip wise) was looking together. I do custom labels on all my major sets we play with and the Vegas set just got a massive overhaul. I went kind of TP crazy after building my MTT set (not pictured). Once all the chips have arrived and labeling is complete, I’ll do a full post on tables/chip sets/chairs/misc from when I joined until now. Although with something like 8,000 labels coming, it’s going to be a little bit. lol

Why sliders instead of wheels?

Why sliders instead of wheels?
Wheels on a thick carpet kind of suck, imo. Beyond being rough on the carpet, they bury themselves in and make it tougher to move than just a slider. I guess I figured if furniture movers place sliders under heavy things to easily push them around, it couldn’t hurt to try. So far, I’m pleased with the choice. If I had hardwood floors (never in a home theater, which at its core is still what my poker room is), or even a thinner carpet I’d have gone with wheels. Because, my room was designed as a theater first, the acoustics were my primary consideration for flooring. Either would be fine, however. Just suited my carpet a little better.

I have a teensy bit of news on that front. We’ve logged about 20 hours in mine so far and the reports are all great for the most part. Only issue is one of the gas shocks won’t stay up when one of my heavier players was sitting in it. I had him swap chairs with a lighter player and neither had issues the rest of the night. Even if the shock needs total replacement, those are super easy to come by, so no big deal. Just reporting what I know as I learn it. 😉

@Venturalvn How have your chairs held up over time?
We got ours 22SEP2023, play basically bi-weekly, for ~6 hour sessions. Chairs, wheels, padding, stitching all holding up really well.

We do have a rub mark on a couple chairs, but we also transport our chairs from basement storage, to upstairs play area; lots of room for dinging walls.

I'd buy again, and am torn between trying to purchase from our friend who also bought to get our MOQ up. Or placing another order with some colour / logo features.

They are still just as nice as they were out of the box, if not more comfortable with a little breaking in. Monthly games of around 6 hours, and as I said in the OP, with some big, big fellas included! I have had no issues with the frames, the pistons, the padding, or the material/seams. All of my players have nothing but good things to say.

Chairs have all arrived. They did arrive in 2 different deliveries by FedEx, 6 boxes each. I would say that the boxes were in pretty decent shape given the ocean journey and I haven’t seen any damage to any of the chairs. All parts were there, and I did end up with an extra set of the wheel base, for what it’s worth.
My son put them together, took maybe 5-7 minutes a chair, so fairly easy. Have them all put together and up in the poker room now. Just under $1700 with shipping for 10 chairs, with logo embroidered on the back. The two shipments arrived 59 and 62 days after payment.
All in all, it was a fairly good experience. I’m did have to correct the logo size from Gavin’s first attempt, but he did that with no pushback at all. The first thought I had when sitting in them was the bottom was a little firm but I’m used to Gasser banquet, stackable chairs. I think during a poker session the firmness will be good, and the chair backs are comfortable and flex a little bit. I reallly like them! One of the best investments I've made to the room and the game I think.

Now pics!:

What are the dimensions of your table and do you feel that 10 players can sit comfortably at the table in those chairs without bumping into each other?

If interested, my table is 48” x 96” with a dealer cutout. We play 9 or 10 handed, plus a dealer all the time. 10 with a dealer is slightly cramped, but not bad. 9 with a dealer is zero issue at all.

Pics are on page 12 of this thread, if interested.

I have a friend who is looking to buy chairs. He runs 3 times a week. Do we think these will hold up for a couple of years?

How are your chairs holding up after how many years? they still in good condition?

I’ve only had mine for about 11 weeks. Probably 80-100 total hours of seat time. They don’t feel any different now than brand new. May be too soon to know for sure, but by this point, church chairs were no longer comfortable. Usually 40 or so hours on a chair is enough to decide if they’re keepers for me. I’m beyond pleased so far.

Anybody in NYC/Philly area contemplating a purchase? Combined shipping could help lower costs.

Looking to get together an order for the Atlanta area, in particular North Atlanta. Anyone who thinks they would be interested please DM me. From reading through this post and a couple others it looks like Chairs would be around $175 all in with postage and tariffs but of course we would get an exact quote first. Also from what I have read it is a pay first and wait for them to arrive. Given the success of others in this post I am NOT worried about paying ahead and I am NOT worried about quality assuming we use the same vendor as used earlier in this post.

Just be aware when combining orders, you still have to get them to each recipient. My 10 chairs came in 12 large boxes. Nothing that wouldn’t fit into a trailer or pickup but you might have to make more than one trip.

Here they are! Can’t believe not a single one was damaged after looking at the boxes! Nothing was missing either!

Last pic was with the older chairs. They looked ok but we’re very flimsy. These are exponentially sturdier and more comfortable.

Just saw this thread pop up again. Can’t believe I’ve had these for almost 2 and half years!

Thought I’d comment on how they are holding up….

Looking at my “Poker Bankroll Tracker” I have 18 sessions entered for 154 hours since I got them. I’d add about 15-20 hours for the games my teenage boys played with their buddies.

Honestly…I can’t tell the difference from when they were new. I’ve been very impressed.

I’ve been meaning to post an update on mine.

We’ve now had at least 150 hours of seat time logged and the chairs are just as comfy as they were out of the box. The only new information of note is the shocks. Some were not good, nearly immediately. Some are still going strong without issue. I can’t say how many of the ten chairs will need replacement within the first year, but so far I’ve swapped out 3 and have a pair on standby when the next couple wear out. The seals broke on each of the chairs I’ve replaced the cylinders, so I’m sure they used a cheap o ring or something. Regardless, I’d still make the purchase in a second. If you do, just be prepared to replace the shock. It wasn’t a weight issue, as the ones that wouldn’t stay up couldn’t hold 120 lady without slowly dropping. I went ahead and spent a couple extra bucks on these to hopefully not have to replace them again anytime soon.

Thank you, sounds like it would be a uhaul type transfer. Group buy my not make any sense unless shipping is drastically reduced.

I didn’t use Gavin, that’s true. I tried, but he wasn’t responsive for nearly two weeks, so I sent a message to someone else through Alibaba who went by Francis Lou. I’m sure that’s his Christian name, by the way. 😬😂

I bet they all come out of the same factory. For what it is worth, I used Gavin and had no problems. Just takes a long time to receive them after you place your order. Like 6-8 weeks if I recall.

Yep, it was right at 9 weeks to ship, close to 10 before landing.

My chairs just arrived!

My only complaint is the height. Even at the lowest setting I'm tip-toeing the ground (5'8")... If i take the rolling wheels off the bottom I'm good but that will destroy the floors.

Scrolling through the thread I didn't see if anyone else had problem solved this before.

edit: Maybe I can replace with these to get a half inch closer to the ground: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SLBSBJ...p_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM

I think I'm ready to upgrade to these chairs. I sent a message to Gavin just a 10 mins ago and he's responding. I think he knows I'm ready to buy lol. They don't have the black with blue chairs in stock so he's quoting 50-60 days to arrive from the time I pay. Will be with the aluminum alloy wheels and the stackable style.
