Table Showcase (pics) (6 Viewers)

My humble addition. 54" octagon. It has an oak pedestal base from a Craigslist table. The track is padded and covered in vinyl. Rail was hand stitched. I glued the fabric cord between the track and the speed cloth. Not necessary, but pretty easy and I thought it looked nice plus tied in with the gold design on the chairs as well. 8 screws to remove the center and replace the cloth. The fabric cord should be easily replaced. We'll see about that, once I get up the nerve to order a new cloth from T_chan!

EDIT: Someone asked me about the rail and why it was hand stitched. As I recall, when I bought the Naugahyde texture vinyl, it only came in 54" lengths. So it wasn't long enough to wrap the rail as one piece. I decided I liked the texture, vs smooth vinyl, enough to have the stitch. If both the track and rail required stitching, I'd probably have bailed on the vinyl.

Cruising old posts here. This is a beautiful table.

After a long road the dream has come true and I finally get to post in this thread.

Not my best pictures but I was rushing around getting everything ready for the first big poker night on the set up. None of my friends new this was happening so there was a lot of excitement.

The full experience:
The 102 Illuminati full table from Gorilla Gaming with shuffle tech installed.
Felt design was inspired by a design here, but redesigned by the Gorilla team.
Chairs were also sourced by a forum member, so thank you again. They are ridiculously comfy and really add to the experience.
Fades spades for the cards and they worked fantastic in the shuffler. Not one jam all night. (Also... I was so worried on the noise and went back and forth until I finally said fuck it and committed. It's hardly noticeable when everyone is talking and not one person commented on the noise of the shuffler. They all loved it.)
Finally the chips... The ESPTs. In my humble opinion, the GOATs. Just completed the whole experience. (Bonus points for the medicine bottle tip. Really makes sorting the chips a breeze before game.)

This has been the result of a lot (like... a lot) of lurking and some posting. Big, huge shoutouts to many of the forum members who gave me incredible advice along the way. Also, big shoutout to GG who were a pleasure to work with and helped get this thing safely all the way down to my little island.

Bonus 1: Won the first game on the table! Already starting to recoup some of the ridiculous costs lol. (Some friendly accusations of a rigged shuffler may have been thrown out.)
Bonus 2: The pup is lurking in one of the pics. He found his spot under the table almost immediately.
Bonus 3: Finally... The God Damn Hotdog Roller... I really thought I was a tool for buying this thing and no one is going to want hotdogs... Welp... Ran out of hot dogs... Apparently it really is a hit. Another fantastic piece of advice from this forum. That combined with meatballs in the slow cooker fed the apes that all decided to show up for fun and fellowship.

So, thanks again to this forum for the incredible advice.

Love the setup @TheBigShow! The chairs look great, where do store 10 wheelie chairs when not in use?
I don’t have a garage so it has always ruled it out, but thinking about it 10 wheelie chairs would be hard to store even with a garage. Dedicated poker room is a dream.

This will be the final piece. I'm just going to use it as a table with the chairs. Going to get a carpenter to build a table top for it. Ideally it will be two (maybe three) pieces I can take off and put on. I asked GG and they said they were doing it at one point but it wasn't shipping well so they stopped offering it. I figured a local carpenter can make something that will work.

The roller chairs will just have to work for dinner as well lol. You can actually see in the background my previous round table and I was using the chairs with that just fine, as I had the chairs well before the table. It was maybe a touch odd to have roller chairs at a dinning room table but once you get past that, they really are very comfortable.

My latest build - a 6-8 seater with raised rail inspired by WPT tables

How do you like the ellipse shape compared to your previous round table?

I'm currently rocking a 60" Lifetime round table with a felt topper! But one day I will have an ellipse table!!!!!

Built this about 18 months ago - clearly before I found this site and learned the downside of racetracks. Sorry for the bad pic - will look for a better version. That is a variable color LED that outlines the speed cloth. Just trying something different.

Great looking table. The blue is nice though it would have been stellar if you stained it magenta to match your Puller!

Where did you get those black and blue chairs, looking to get 10 for my home game. Very nice set up.
Alibaba. If you type Alibaba into the search menu, the entire process is laid out. They take a bit to get here from China, but definitely worth the wait.

I think we all love it so far. I don’t think I cab go back. Little tricky dealing to the far left and right on the side of the dealer but not that bad. Conversationally, the table works really well and the sight lines are really nice.

Well, this came about quite unexpectedly!!! Less than a week after finalizing a custom table build with Bill from PPL Poker and sending him half down payment, my wife sent me a local Facebook ad from a couple who are moving and needing to sell thier poker table. Usually the local tables she sends me are cheaply built tables i have zero interest in. However after looking i knew this was different. They had a Nighthawk from BBO with upgraded felt and a table cover that is worth around $2,400. It also included 6 (ugly) chairs that were of decent quality with adjustable height. The table is basically brand new. He said he thought he played on it three times. Long story short, yesterday I went home with an unplanned table and chairs for $1600. It was too good of a deal to pass up. After i get the chairs re-upholstered it's going to be a nice setup.

I should have the custom table by late summer and look forward to sharing the new poker room when finished.

Those chairs deserve to kick off a Fugly Poker Chairs thread

Don't you dare touch those chairs (except with your tuchus)

Oh my goodness, I love the chairs. I have some side chairs that look identical to those.
