After a great night sleep, I said goodbye to Dan and Shari and took Uber to Wynn.
First a little walk and some breakfast

Get folded to me, I call and villain checks
Board is 4JQ rainbow.
I bet 4bb, another call.
2 on turn and I bet 10bb, player tanks 2 min and calls.
7 on the river, I bet 30% of pot…only hand I can think of is a set of JJ or AQ (but no raise pre or post ?)
Villain calls and shows JQ…ffs

Couldn’t spin it back up, just one of those days where nothing falls you way.
Pushed my last chips in with 1010 in late position just to get called with JJ in the SB.
Rinse and repeat (but better) tomorrow….
Still plenty of opportunities.
Rufus just arrived in Vegas and we are now chilling at Harrahs. Maybe some cash action tonight but no late bender…last shot at prime tomorrow.

Another update from Vegas for my PCF railbirds.
Yesterday we took another shot at WPT prime, the biggest tourney of the series.
Rufus and I woke up early and after a ‘short’ walkabout, we decided to eat breakfast at Hash house a gogo.
No, not a Dutch dispensary or strip club…a great place close at Harrahs.
A must visit place if you are in Vegas

The weather is fantastic, feels like European summer, and after a great breakfast I went down to the Wynn for Prime flight D.
Things went better but wasn’t able to reach day 2

Played well and made it past the dinner break… just was card dead most of the time and cold deck with crucial draws.
That’s tourney life too…but it doesn’t kill my buzz.
Not backing down and still believe its going to work out…plenty of poker to come.
Sorry about the lack of updates, table grind is real (the level is good, plenty of very solid players).
Different compared to WSOP circuit, also because of higher buy-in amounts.
The venue and organisation is top notch and dealer level is best I ever saw.
Only the breaks are a disaster, 15min is barely enough for a pee and the ressort is huge.
Rushing to get a smoke in and hit the loo…looking for a way to post more frequent updates.
I was beat after each day and sticking to 8h sleep regime, the trip just started and need to keep the mind and body rested.
After two long days of poker, we’ll enjoy the fun stuff today and more poker in the afternoon or evening.
Slept in late today and time for some breakfast.

Vegas is buzzing…everything is packed.
Rodeo is in town but according to my friend at the cage besides F1 things where not as busy since summer.
I know my trip report generates some interest but this is a bit too much
