Right sizing the collection.

Approaching the final throes, removing and adding to hopefully finalize the collection as much as possible as we’ve settled in and the card room is ready to go.

Going through and documenting/photographing to update the collection, while pulling out all duplicates.

This is 1/2 of what needs to be gone through and photographed.

Prepare yourself, as Barrie Rightsize Sales and Wanted Ads or Sample Trades will be errywhere.

If you'd like I could share my spreadsheet template that I use to catalog chips... a bit nerdy, but boy it makes looking things up easy.

Chip info, mold, material, manufacturer... and about 20 other columns that while tedious to input new chips into, results in knowing exactly what I've got!

For sure feel free to shoot over!

This is somewhat easy though since just CPC and some Paulson.

This is a slow, painful process. There’s no way chippers enjoy this part and photos and finding the price they paid and listing.

Someone take it all in exchange for 2 Costco Rotisserie Chickens, 4 tickets to Disney on Ice, and a blu ray box edition of The Lord of the Rings or Home Improvement.

Love the ladder as chip shelving unit!
I didn’t even see that  :ROFLMAO: That’s the problem, they’re covering every surface each time I try to do this.

Definitely getting through it this weekend 100%.

I can feel the warmth of the candles on the retirement birthday cake already

I’m not quite sure which of these is worse.

1. That I’m not even remotely close to done.

2. That this isn’t even a top 10 custom set collection.

3. That I’m not even a custom chips guy - I’ve never owned a set of custom chips nor will I ever make em. I just like the dopamine hit of winning auctions and things in the mail.

We move again in the next 3 years, and these are either staying with the house or someone’s getting a nice package(s) in the mail.

I envision a wall mosaic of your favorite theme (Bond, Harry Potter, Wild Horses, Unicorns, etc.) made out of chips. I am now trying to work through how to "mount" them without gluing them. Have fun!
