I ordered some Greek mold hybrid for the feel of the chips but wondering if all of those molds felt the same while shuffling and etc? Or if I would need to get samples of both Sun and Web molds?

Get samples. From my sample set the Greek mold is the grippiest, followed by Sun, followed by Web and Jester equally. But that's a relative comparison, they're all pretty darn slippery, I'd just get the mold that best complements the art you want.

Disagree
Web stacks and shuffles great.
Milage may vary.
Web was superior to my Greek set shuffling and stability wise

It's a relative thing, the molds are more similar than they are different, and there might be an element of subjectivity to it. I personally like the Web and Jesters, they're what I'd prefer getting for myself, but I do think the Greek and Sun have just a tiny bit more grip at rest in stacks (resistance to the table being bumped).

I had a set of 39mm web - they were a more difficult shuffle than my 43mm Greek chips.

And it’s interesting, I found (like @SeanGecko) that the Web were a bit grippier than the Greek.

Anyone have much experience with Jester mold yet? I love the style as its very similar to top hat and cane.

I assume the texture of jester molds is basically the same as the web mold texture with the actual mold being the only difference?

With my new tina samples the web39 is more slippery than the greek39, enough that I would buy the greek even though I prefer the look of the web (slightly).

With the 43mm chips I think the greek is less slippy but they are both way more stable anyway. To the extent that now I've felt them I might go that way. Which one will be based on whether I want a bigger label, or to see more chip, once I've mocked them up.

What label type did you get?

All my direct from Tina samples have smooth labels. I removed a couple of lumps from below labels so all are fully recessed as far as I can see/feel. Although it does look close on some of them.

Is there a problem with some label thickness combined with some molds ?

I've been out the loop for a while, just coming back to finish off my first buy. Was planning to get the textured satin having seen those on 'The NUTS' which is a black backgound like my design.
