Red (and orange) is the most limited color in digital photography. Monitors and TVs struggle the most to display it and camera sensors to accurately capture itThe oil definitely makes these pop more, but somehow makes the blaze even more tough to capture (no editing):

You can have oceans of depth and detail in a blue, and shooting a red under the same conditions can look totally flat and strange
Things you learn as a (former) photographer
The full visual is what humans can see
The triangles are the visible light that can be displayed in different “color spaces” which correspond to file types and the capabilities of monitors. Look how small the red area is within the triangles vs green.
Photoshop files are usually in Adobe RGB but can be in ProPhoto, which only helps if you have a monitor capable of displaying those colors. Most of the web is in sRGB so even the most advanced camera will ultimately have a very limited final image if saved and then displayed in sRGB.

It definitely doesn't get the love it deserves. I felt this way about the $20 because it was the first chip that was previewed. It's a stunning chip! Even more beautiful in person.
