I anticipate an opening or 2 next year for our trip, as a couple of people may have conflicts. It's been around $320 a person for the house and $150 for food FOR A WHOLE WEEK Ocean Front. We're a couple of miles from a cool cigar and bar lounge with really nice likker. No asshats

I promise to do a deep dive and take pics of individual cigars all laid out, take inventory and all that shit asap. For now, this will have to suffice. But, you’ll get an idea at least….
Anyone interested in obtaining the entire collection has my attention. The sticks have been loved in spite of me not smoking the past many years. They are still in immaculate smoking condition. I’ve given several away to poker buddies recently who can attest to burning absolutely perfectly. And I know ten times more about cigars than poker chips, so please don’t come at me with some bullshit about being worth less because they’re old or something stupid. I’m willing to be extremely generous. I’m also willing to just sit on the collection for another decade in case I decide to start smoking again. I’m far from needing the cash. So, with that said, here’s what I’m after.
Hokey as it sounds, I just want them to be appreciated by a person or people who know the value of an outstanding cigar vs something they picked up at their local cigar shop fresh off the UPS truck. Kind of like the person how knows the difference between say a THC and a China clay.I’m not looking for their actual value. Just a happy home or homes.
While I’d split them up, I’d prefer to send them to one person. But, we all know how that’s likely to go. I’d sell them sure, cash is king. But, I’d also consider interesting trade offers. I have acquired a shitload of Paulson’s over the past 4 months, so I’m not interested in just anything. But, if you have something equally interesting, I’m all ears. And whoever is on the shorter side of the trade can make it even with cash.
Anyone who comes at me thinking I’m getting pushed around, because I’m the “noob”…. Just don’t. I’m willing to offer an amazing deal. Being a sweet human will get you significantly further than being a dick with a fat wallet. I’m doing just fine in that department, thank you.
Sorry, if I sound gruff. 99% of you guys are genuine sweethearts!!! And that’s who I want to enjoy my collection!

Let me start by saying what a fucking collection.
I'd love to be able to get my grubby mitts on some of these but there's no way I can afford the lot at a reasonable price to you! With that said, I'm more than happy to see if anyone is interested in a group buy of sorts. Jers, I'm sure you have some sort of number in your head. If you want, we can discuss futher in PM's.
Actually, I don’t. I just want someone who will appreciate them. I actually considered gifting the entire collection to a buddy of mine, or so I thought. He inexplicably ghosted me and never returned my numerous voicemails. His loss. I never told him I was contacting him to make sure he had the space for all of these. Just that it had been a few years and I wanted to “catch up”. No clue what I may have done to offend or if he thought I needed something or what. But, that was a few years ago and is what it is. Sounds like you’d genuinely enjoy them. That’s a solid start for a deal to me. The other stuff is just minutia.
This whole idea was just a random thing that popped in my head when I saw the thread. Like “hey, here’s some fellas that would love your cigars! You just waste your time checking on them once a month and they take up a ton of room I could be using for more poker chips…”.

I can promise you that I would enjoy them and that I would love to share them with the guys here! I know it would be a hassle for you to try and ship out packages to multiple people so I would like to come up with a deal and I will of course pass along the good will with the guys here! I'd be interested in whatever you were willing to part with even if that includes the humidors. I only have box humidors now and they do not hold too many sticks.
Sounds like we are off and running! I’m sure we can work something out. Nothing would please me more than seeing a pic of the fellas enjoying a stick from me casa, maybe I get a toast or something.

I’ll do my best to get a complete inventory of what exactly I even have. I have several irons in the fire this week and this was purely just a passing thought when I made my post. They’ve been kept extremely well for a decade, another few days won’t hurt anything. I used to keep an inventory of what I had, like what is pictured. It’s completely out of date and I deleted all the number counts as it was wildly off. So, there will be sticks on this list I don’t have, sticks I do have that aren’t listed, etc. I’ll put down every last one and see if I can come up with some idea. I hate when someone shows a whole collection of stuff and is crazy vague with what they want for it. I’m not trying to be that guy. I just hadn’t thought of it. I will do some serious sole searching. But, it’ll be WAY under market value to the PCF community, that much I know. And it never hurts to know what you have, anyway.
Again, in desperate need of updating and getting counts. I will do so asap.

I haven't been around much, but I've been pretty much exclusively smoking Sobremesa Brulee "Blue" from DT&T. Bit on the expensive side, but I don't smoke them enough for it to really hurt the wallet too much.

I have too many cigars at this point, but I could use an attractive humidor, like the one in the first picture. So I’d be happy to join any in-process deal if that’s in discussion and it would help.
Either way, nice work over the years.
I spent hours going through my entire collection to get a complete and up to date inventory of what I had, pics of every last stick, etc only to get back that I’d completely wasted my time. So, I moved back to more fruitful projects. I will sell the collection at some point sooner than later, but I was pretty annoyed and dropping everything to go to that level of trouble only to be summarily dismissed for whatever reason. Now that the work is done, I’m considering just hitting up a couple of the owners of local cigar bars I know. While they couldn’t sell them to patrons legally, they could certainly add to their private collections. Not sure, bouncing a few ideas around once I get back to that mode.
Ah, tough break. At least you now know what you have. I think you were on to something with finding some worthy friends to send some cigar care packages to, as that’s probably infinitely easier and more tenable than a store or person buying the collection at anything near what you paid. Reselling stuff, even aged cigars, is tricky.

I’m content to take 30¢ on the dollar, which is nuts. I’d just like them to land with someone who will enjoy what they have. The exact same cigar fresh from the manufacturer is nothing close to what it’s like 6+ years down the road. I’ll find someone.
It was cool going through them all and seeing what I have. It’d been so long, I kind of forgot about some of these beauties.

That’s not entirely fair. I did all I could to facilitate something but there wasn’t any possible way I could do it all myself. I reached out to over 20 people to see if they had any interest and it was colder than lukewarm.
Would I have loved to buy the whole lot? Of course!! Do I have anywhere near the funds myself? Absolutely not. I was pretty upfront with that if I remember correctly.
I apologize if you thought I wasted your time but that was absolutely not my intention. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.
It wasn’t a shot at you bro. I was pushed pretty aggressively to take compete inventory and pics of every last stick for plenty of others. It’s all good. It wasn’t in vein. I just was swamped at the time and should have tabled it until it was more convenient. I’m guilty of dropping everything. No one held a gun to my head. You’re 100% correct. Not a shot at you at all. Apologies if it read that that way.
