Hi!

Player A: 2000
Player B: 5000
Player C: 8000

All players are all-in. Player A wins the main pot.
Player C wins the BC side pot, and Player B is eliminated.

Question: who gets the bounty for B?

Is it C because A's money would not eliminate B completely?

Thanks for help! :)

Yes, i would think so, all to C.

Where it gets tricky is if the bounty cannot be split abd BC have the same hand and knock out A. To avoid this ud need divisable bounties or a whiteboard.

If it was a genuine split pot for the bounty chip I’d probably follow the “left of the dealer rule” but secretly hope the players would agree to split it.

Yes you are correct

Bounty in side pot 100%

Should always be a split, not by position. Sometimes it’s easy to split. If not easy to split I’ve seen
-someone pays cash to the other
-gamble red/black on the next flop (for the whole amount or for the odd amount)
