Is there an android app?
It’s on android as well. It appears and disappears from the android App Store. Called pineapple 13 card poker.

You can play against android and apple users.

If you want to add me I’m @fatb@stard

@Gear have you given up?
Yeah, pretty much. I mean, what's the point. You drag yourself out of bed, assuming you can even manage that, and spend the whole day trying to find some spark of meaning or any fleeting moment of happiness, only to be constantly reminded that it doesn't matter anyway because the future is so bleak.

...wait, did you mean just OFCP? ;)

Yeah we’re all going to die…

Anyway what about OFCP? :ROFLMAO:

This is my favorite live game of all time. Anyone down to try and set up a game near NJ?

Pretty good Fantasy Land hand. Usually I get crap. Sorry @BonScot.

It’s on android as well.

For anyone technical enough to get a package name, can someone post it?
It's not on the store proper so I might try side loading it.
I don't want to lug around an iPhone just for this. Or do I....

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it. But it seems to crash upon load.
I might try some other device for giggles.

If anyone else wants to try, the package name is "com.playpineapple.melo"

I haven’t opened the app nor played in years. But with the upcoming OFCP tournament next weekend, I figured I’d better practice a little. Did something change on the app that you have to pay $20/month to play? I started a game with the bot and after the 28th had it said I ran out of free hands for the day…

I think you can play with friends for free but I could be wrong…

Raccoon is free. IDK if it's on apple though.

I’ve been glued to Upper Hand app

I paid the $25 for lifetime “pro” (or $10/yr) and it’s been hugely beneficial as there’s an integrated AI “coach”

you play against a computer and then you can Review your hand and it’ll give you an EV score for every step. The screenshot here shows “best” for all meaning I played optimally (according to its algorithm) but its most helpful when it shows your blunders and gives you a scale

It’ll usually have a one-sentence explanation of your mistake which is very helpful too

80% is spot on and correct, while 20% it’s hallucinating or giving a BS answer. Now that I’ve played enough I know the difference!

Highly recommend. Easy to jump in and play a few hands whenever

It’ll also show you optimal moves on Fantasy Land which has been super helpful. There’s even a 5-a-day fantasy land puzzle if you just want to grind FL skills

I’m rambling because this app is my new go-to time waster (in the uhh, best way I mean)

Including a screenshot of the “coaching” AI

See for yourself - shows you the optimal EV play and explains why. Foul risk, fantasy land chance, etc… including context from your opponent’s board

80% on point, occasionally hilariously wrong

For folks that have played OFCP in a tournament setting. Does it go better played to a specific points amount or a specific duration or a combo (eg first to X or most after Y minutes)?

Any other nuance to consider for tourney? Considering switching my annual Memorial Day heads up tournament from NLHE OFCP. Would be 4 round Swiss bracket. Heads up. 12-16ish players

theres so kinks to work out from last time.

Maybe time limits...or blind increase or something else

William Kassouf would favor playing to a particular time, especially if he took an early lead.

Number of hands could be done, but unless there is a dedicated counting method, this could prove tiresome.

I've never done OFCP with increasing blinds (cost per point), but it is very poker tournament-like.

We do the heads up tournament with a four round Swiss bracket and I aim for about 4 hours of play time. That works well for NLHE but an entire hour of heads up OFCP sounds like a bit of a slog for a bunch of first timers? Maybe 3 x 20 min games and most points at 20 min seals it for a Bo3 style?

Oooh. Looking more like 10-12. Maybe just 20 min timed full round robin?
