These are now live on eBay for a 10 day auction. It's a full rack of uncirculated, Crystal Park poker chips that I purchased from the Paulsons factory outlet store in Atlantic City a million years ago it seems. 80 of them are sequentially numbered from 1601-1680. The other 20 are numbered 1821-1840. Pictures of the individual chips with the serial numbers are shown on eBay.

$138.44 shipping. Nice.
I'll probably refund or discount much of that. I am trying to defeat and inhibit scammers by insisting on FedEx priority overnight and signature requirements. Scammers love collectible auctions! In fact, I think I'll try to change that to free shipping...

Fixed: Shipping is now FedEx Priority and the expense will be mine. I'm not going to make people pay for my paranoia!

just 2 cents, as others have said, your buyer is going to be from this site.

it’s silly for the 2 of you to lose money to fee bay for no reason.

Many ways to ensure no scamming while still simply selling here. If no bids yet (idk how eBay works), I would 100% cancel and go the PCF route.

Admittedly, I'm being lazy to an extent. Commission will be 12.7%. But eBay handles all the remittances and gives me protection from scammers provided I document the sale properly. Plus the sale is documented for IRS purposes and all my recordkeeping is in one place which is nice. It also protects the buyers in case I am a scammer, which of course I'm not, but buyers will be comfortable bidding because they can check out my feedback and comments. eBay gets a lot of hate, but they actually do quite a bit for that 12.7%.

I totally get it.
People here hate eBay because we're so used to buying and selling amongst ourselves, without fees. But security is priceless. Or in this case, security costs $138.44 plus 12.7%. And it's worth every penny if it's what you need to sleep at night. Good luck with the auction.

Plus, eBay put me in their International Seller program. That means if I sell something to some guy in UK or Russia, I ship it to an eBay fulfillment center here in the US using a label they provide for me. Then they assume total responsibility for actually shipping it overseas. Customs, remittance, foreign exchange, they do everything at no additional charge. And, if the guy in Russia returns the item? eBay handles it. It no longer has anything to do with me at all. Total international scammer protection, basically. Plus you get the chance to reach everyone in the world, which could stimulate a higher offer. It is an invitation only program, but it's easy to get invited if your feedback is good and you ship everything the next day. They charge me NOTHING for this, it's included in that 12.7%. I actually like eBay. The fees suck, but guess what, everything has a rake! Running huge data centers to make everything work smoothly and adjudicating buyer-seller disputes and giving you access to all the myriad payment methods without giving it a thought? All of that has to be expensive. I think the 12.7% is reasonable.
