Hi, I came across the Royal Poker chips from Apache, and really like the touch and feel, however would love to have them customized and also equipped with a different label. On their webpage it says that they are not manufacturing themselves but that royals are made by same manufacture as majestics. As their chips are often referred as to be "china clays" I wonder if somebody knows either who is the manufacturer of them or if there are very similar chips available somewhere with customization options? Is Tina / Sunfly or others capable of making same quality chips?

Tina/Sunfly are arguably higher quality chips.

You probably won't have much success reaching the manufacturer of the Royals, let alone getting them to customize them for you, but you could always have @Gear make custom labels for you.

It depends on what you mean by "customization". If you are just talking about the label, you could buy the Royals from Apache (not sure if they still sell blanks, but the labels can be removed easily) and then apply your own labels from Gear (or Sticker Mule, if you are handy at self-design). Given your location in Germany, shipping and taxes/duties may add up to a considerable amount.

If you want custom spot designs and colors, then you would have to go to one of the Chinese chip makers and have them make what you want. Your best hope would be to go to Alibaba, contact some of the dozens of chip makers there, and ask them whether they can make what you want. Some manufacturers may have small minimum order quantity (MOQ), while others may have a larger MOQ. You'll have to ask each vendor what their policy is.

Note that many of the manufacturers on Alibaba are now promoting "ceramic" rather than "clay". Whether you can find similar quality and feel to the Royals may be challenging. Most manufacturers would probably send you a sample before taking your order.

Best of luck!

Is there a link to the Tina site. I always read about Tina chips, but where can I buy some (Royal Card Room 43mm), or is Tina just for ceramics?

Apache no longer sells blanks but getting the label off isn’t awful.

Tina’s are a lot easier though and there are 43mm options too.

Thank you for your reply. Where can I order some from Tina? Do you have a link to her? Thank you

Thank you. But as far as I have seen you can only order ceramics. I am interested in clay chips (43mm Royal Card Room)

You should get samples from us. I think you would be surprised in the difference

Royals are not clay no matter what any advertising says. But they are ok, no problems, it’s just that if you are specifically wanting CLAY you might look at other alternatives. If you want royals specifically that are clay-like plastic then you are fine.

Thank you for your Message. Are you a vendor/have a shop? How can I get samples? What kind of material do you have? I am looking for 43mm. Thanks

Thank you. What does Hybrids mean?
That little button that looks like a search icon can help you out a lot.
