This one is pretty wide open, but always love hear It could be any upgrade from better lighting, improved snack options, furniture, music, air purifier, table upgrades, etc…. Or maybe it’s the format of your game to make it run smoother?

Music and dedicated dealer. Anyone can help shuffle but having someone responsible for keeping the action going and dealing the cards just makes everything so much easier. If its not me its a trusted friend, and even then its 40% slower than how I do it. Don't have to tip them or anything, often its the host, but it makes it feel more professional for those silly low stakes home games.

Edit to add: because if you don't have one and you have newer players/alcohol/distractions, you're going to have to rule and figure out what happened anyways. Might as well dedicate someone to doing so and let the others space out or whatever they do when they're not being helpful lol.

Better chairs (don’t have the room/budget for this now

Dedicated dealer (I have a mental hangup here where this step takes it from a friendly/home game to something a little more “legit” and I’m not sure I’m ready to go there yet for a game in my home)

Deeper cup holders

Is this a theoretical concept or do those players exist in the wild?
Well the bar is fairly low vs my skill level, so it makes it hard to find.

@TheOffalo joins and wins money - he will not be invited back
@horseshoez joins and loses - he will be the first on the invite list everytime

We’ll see how long the game sustains ;)

Happy to help boost table morale. Bring a notepad and a pen for each player next time :cool

More room. Current poker room was build in the bonus area above the garage. I want a house with a basement so I can design my room from scratch and not be confined to a room the size of a large bedroom.

I'd also love to build a new room 15 years later, I've learned so much about what I would do differently this time around. (Hello dishwasher!)

Ideally I think a garage / barn is ideal. Detached from the home.

This right here. One day, I’m determined to have a separate building from the main house. The dream setup? A spacious game/poker room up front with a guest bedroom tucked away in the back. But as long as I’m living in California… it’s just that—a dream.

There will be NO bedrooms in the poker barn lmao

More space, i.e. a dedicated poker/entertainment space would be the dream. Would allow for poker-specific seating, among other amenities.

Alas, a single family detached home with enough space for a poker room probably isn't happening any time soon (or ever) as long as we're living in Zurich...

Came here to say the same, but in the US mid-west. Unless I happen to win the lottery, prolly not happening.

Our next "upgrade" is likely a Shuffletech.

We have a nice table, chairs, chips, cards, hot dog roller, some decor. More "space" would be nice, but that might be after the kids move, even then Players seem luke warm to moving from our dining room to the basement.

We're doing a 2nd table for the 1st time this weekend, with a borrowed table, so maybe a nicer secondary table lol.

My next additions will be a kegerator and an ice maker.

I wish I had a full wet bar but that is not happening in my current house. I also don't have space to store nice chairs so I'm stuck with padded folding chairs

Have had Shuffletech for close to 3 years now, definitely a worthy upgrade!

For me it would be space, not a lot of room in an NYC apartment :/
