Do not play at a poker club in Tarrant County even if openly operating with explicit city approval

Corrupt county will seize your shit and charge you too

Tarrant county sheriff is same people who hit Watauga social lounge and seized $200k

Feels pretty Soviet...
Yes, operating a quasi-legal casino with permission from the paid off local officials but not permission from the state government sounds very Soviet and even third world.

I mean if my local jurisdiction allowed dueling as an acceptable way to settle squabbles it might be ok for a bit, but after the third or fourth death I’m sure some overarching government entity would step in.

Live! Salem (New Hampshire) is opening tomorrow. Safe bet that there will be mint Paulsons (and a poker room.)

Casino's spend SO MUCH on Marketing but have no continuity between properties. :( Ugh.

Nom Nom Nom
Live Casino! opens tomorrow July 9th. They will have Poker. I've been to Maryland Live before and it was a very nice Poker Room. What I'm interested to see how they work is HHR(Historical Horse Racing) gambling machines they will have at this Casino. I've never ever heard of them until today. Who here has tried them and are they fun?

Ive never played them, only because I don't play slots. But my understanding of them is that they play like normal slots, but instead of payouts being based on some internal algorithm, they're somehow based on historical horse racing results.

I recall (having read Arthur Miller's "The Crucible") that back in the day, not even dance was allowed in Salem MA, let alone gambling. :)
Salem NH must have had a totally different history.:D

Are you there yet?
Nah. Even if I knew they were the prettiest RHCs in the land, the only use I’d have for them is flipping. And that’s not my thing. I’ll find my way up there if they start running tournaments, but I’m not gonna drive 90 minutes each way just to find out they went with crappy plastics.
