Another NYC “club” game.

One more NYC rake den. High quality ceramics and best chippies of the places I’ve been so far… except the $10s make me want to jump out of the window.

Didn’t get a good photo of the cards but they were really nice - bridge/jumbo, green and purple backs, slight texture backs, and the AoS had a script A inside the spade. Thought it was Angel at first but don’t think that was it. Asked the dealer and floor and they didn’t know :cautious:. Any ideas?

Got the 10 course tasting menu at Amada in Oceans with the wife ( which was phenomenal) then I split to go play cards at Borgata

In for $300 out for $1194 and played for 2hrs 40 mins. Sent this pick to my wife about 40 mins before I left. Dealer bought most of my chips when I cashed out and gave me a purple $500. Took a pick for the kids to see but I must not have saved it! I never got a $500 selling my chips….always blacks!

Showing my live stack and the food!

+1 for the $500 chip!
+10 for the fabulous food!

First time I've gotten to play poker in months and decided to make the journey down to the coast to play at one of my favorite places for a few days. Very happy to find a PLO game going this evening.View attachment 1529541

How are the games there? I haven’t been in about 10 years. I’m coming for a week and thinking of hitting it up a night or 2.

Games have always been good at the Beau. Field is soft on all 1/3 games. The 2/5 is mostly professionally, but usually has a whale or two that makes it playable. All games have uncapped buy ins, timed rake on all PLO and 2/5+ holdem, and generous comps which also make it good. Plus I'm a sucker for their chips. Biggest downside is they moved the poker room out of the back of the casino, where it had an awesome vibe and was quiet to right next to the buffet and by a ton of slots so it's much noiser and the room is smaller. Another downside is the room now closes at 4am. They started that during covid and realized that if you kick out poker players they make their way to the pits and it's never reopened 24 hours.
