Been playing poker for some years and just now finding this forum. Looking forward learning from you all. Played in my first bounty tournament last week and really like the concept. It was a $150 buy in and $50 goes toward the bounty. We could rebuy up to the break, which was 6 levels. If you have 3 bounty chips and get knocked out you only lose 1 of them, so you get paid $100. Definitely makes some play more aggressive than normal to collect the bounty chips.

Saw an awesome bounty chip that @Sway posted. The Bruce Lee knockout chip. Would love to get some of these but not sure where and how.
 
Welcome! As @quintooo said, I also live in Stafford. There are plenty of games in the area, anything from hold 'em to dealer's choice. There's even different flavors of dealer's choice games in the area.

Thank you! Sounds good, I’d love to have options and be able to have more people to invite when I have poker night!
 
There’s a regular game in south riding pretty much every Friday and Saturday. 25c/50c blinds dealers choice. They host a tourney once a month too which would be a good way to”in” the game. The people are super cool and chill. Some descent players too.

There’s also a league game first Saturday each month which hosts a $1/2 cash afterwards.

There’s several $1/2 games and $2/5 games around Ashburn and Reston but I don’t play those games
