I like to have home tourneys and then cash games to follow. Thinking of doing this the next tournament. Please let me know your thoughts? $30 buy in with $10 going to the bounty. Each player gets a bounty chip to start. You collect a bounty chip from anyone you knock out and you lose just 1 bounty chip when you get knocked out. Let’s say you have 5 bounty chips before you get knocked out. You get knocked out and end with 4 bounty chips, so you would receive $40 for those bounty chips. Unlimited rebuys until the break (first 6 levels). I also like to have optional high hand and last man standing for $5 each. Have any of you done this? What are your likes and dislikes with any of it?

That's a pretty standard Bounty tournament. I'd say half the tournaments I host are bounty tournaments. My crew prefers them so they have a chance of winning "something" back if they get knocked out

I like bounty tournaments. Depending on the players, it can generate more action and it gives everyone a chance to win a little bit back. Personally, I'm not big on the high hand or last man standing for tournaments. I'd rather have $5 bad beat jackpot for the cash game and do a final hand showdown at the end if no one hits it.

They’re only $.50/$1. I’d be good with $1/$2. The action is pretty good for $.50/$1 so I’m not pushing it. We’ve had plenty $200-$300 pots.

We are not big on the bounties even though they are fun and does add another dynamic we just simply forget to do them lol I need to get my crew back on them. Although it might taint the game as most of us are degens and will want to take out the guy with the most bounties haha
