I own 3 sets of copags right now, and want to switch it up a little bit, maybe something a bit more traditional instead of all the bright colors.

Anyone have any recommendations?

As far as accessible options?

The current bridge jumbo offerings from Broken Arrow. The stock is smoother than the textured stock on the poker size decks.

Dal Negro and NTP poker size decks on kardwell.com. About $8/deck plus shipping and you won't find better.

There's a poker size group buy going on now via @AHPC as well. Slightly pricier and won't be ready until later this year but the cards look like they're going to be really, really nice.

I wouldn't recommend anything else on Amazon.

If you're willing to work a little bit, research small card shops in Europe that sell Dal Negro and Fournier decks. There's usually a group buy for one or both going on at any given time.

Other than that, wait for @desjgn to restock on his cards.

Don't even bother going down the Cartamudi Belgium, Grimaud, or Pianik rabbit holes. Great cards but you can't find them anymore anywhere.

On top of what the others have quite correctly observed, I'd like to add some observations -

1. There are a lot fewer card brands available than before, due to stocking issues or just no longer being offered.

2. A lot of decks like the Broken Arrows, even Faded Spade and Slowplay are going to be thicker and stiffer than the COPAGs you are used to. The tradeoff for this is enhanced durability and resistance to creasing.

3. I heartily endorse Desjgn, considering you want a classic look. They will have a more textured feel and better durability than your COPAGs,

4. I have been playing around with COPAG Elites lately and they are IMHO worth the price bump from the standard decks. Better feel and texture is what I perceived.

5. If you really want a classic look and soft texture, go ahead and try the KEMs. Yes they ask for both arms on top of your leg but you really can't get into the KEM pro and con debates without at least owning a setup =)

6. Speaking of classic, go ahead and buy a couple of decks of Bicycle Prestige Duraflex cards (especially if you don't mind standard index). Classic Bicycle aesthetics with one of the best paper-analog feels around. One of the few decks still sold on Amazon I can recommend.

7. You can find Modiano Platinums (still my GOAT despite the negative onus it has on these boards) on eBay at a steep price. My POV here is similar to KEM opinion, you can't really call yourself a card-head without at least having one of these. (A similar argument can be made for Fourniers but I like the Modianos a little more and they are more controversial heheh).

GLHF!

Smooth stock Dal Negro plastic set ups back in stock at @Spinettis Gaming for $16/setup. Won't get better than that. Cheaper and better than Copag, IMO.

Edit: never mind, out of stock.

Did someone already buy out the reds?
Damn. They were just in stock this morning and I bought two decks last night. I wonder if my order will be fulfilled as the red decks have been out of stock for a while and it was a mistake that they were shown to be in stock on the site.
