Yes, that's standard for all the "weighted" CPC chips. Some colors show it better than others. The dayglo colors are unweighted which is why you won't see them in the snappers. Most of the time it's more prominent on the rolling edges, but for some reason the light chocolate pops the specs when I oil them. I'm a big fan too.
I did go back and forth a bit on the inlay size but
@David Spragg assured me that my selection was perfect; if I went any bigger I'd have to stretch the skyline which would then have implications for the text and denomination if I wanted to keep the skyline proportional to itself. Definitely glad to have his expert eye before things went to proof.
