SSSS Fantasy Pineapple (4 Viewers)

Pineapple Juice is now at $235, $275 if Courage comes a day earlier than anticipated. An expected $210 for first in the tournament (bound to go up with rebuys). Bid on yourself and cruise out with $485 - that would cover a flight...

The pineapple tourney would be a blast, and would love to go early and give it a run, but I think I must pass. The prudent play is to save my back and show up Thursday. (y)

I think I should still put $2 on courage. Even not playing, I feel like he still has a decent shot at binking it. Plus I'm getting over 100-1 on my money, right?

I still have a few Hydrocodone left over from my back surgery. Not saying I could offer them to you in a public forum, just saying your pain might be less that you think (though your play would suffer drastically). :cautious:;)

Thanks, but already on Tramadol. Held off as long as I could. Only taking 2/day but if I fall asleep at the rail just shake me. :whistling:

Just to fairly handicap my already mediocre pineapple game, and in interest of full disclosure, I'l bel driving 9 hours, straight to Zombs table that Wednesday... Just saying...

Ben ($25): Creator of the SSSS. Has won the Main Event at S@P III and I believe he has also won the Windy City Main Event, though I cannot find that thread. It is widely believed he finished 3rd at the Rumble in the Rockies without having even attended.
Current Owner: Slisk250

BGinGA (Scratch): Master of tournament structures. The Crazy Pineapple event structure was built without his famous 25/75 level, just to put him on tilt. I also painted the biggest wall in my poker room blue just to tilt him more. Why? He owns a bullet that reads "Poker Zombie".

Breich ($20): Chomping at the bit for circus games, he may find Crazy Pineapple too tame and be looking to get to the cash games early.
Current Owner: ChaosRock

ChaosRock ($25): Owns more chipsets that even he is aware of, and he probably has 3 others in production that none of us are aware of. He is likely funding these purchases from his winnings at the 2015 WSOP.
Current Owner: Slisk250

Inca911 ($30): Open Face Chinese Poker promoter. Plays the Pineapple version online, making him the Pineapple favorite - but can he make the adjustment from OFCP to Crazy?
Current Owner: Bentax1978

Mr Tree ($20): With his son's birthday rapidly approaching, will his mind be focused on family matters, or will he play with the determination of a father trying to pay off the party debt early?
Current Owner: ChaosRock

Mrs. Poker Zombie ($15): Homefield advantage means not having to drive anywhere post-game. Will either run deep or drink deeper.
Current Owner: DetroitDad

Poker Zombie ($20): Homefield advantage, and has crazy down pat. However, has never played a single hand of Pineapple or Crazy Pineapple, though he really likes pineapple - especially grilled.
Current Owner: PokerZombie

Ronoh ($50): Tennessee is a coconut free zone, thus ensuring his safety. I may tie a pineapple in the tree just to see if pineapples hold a grudge against him as well.
Current Owner: Ronoh

Tommythecat ($20): Attendance at this point is only 60/40 in favor, meaning that money bid on TtC already has a 40% chance of breaking even!
Current Owner: ChaosRock

Field ($10): This will consist of any late comers not listed above, including any locals that may attend. At this time, no locals have confirmed, but I wanted to hold the slot open just in case. In the event that 2 or more locals/late PCF sign-ups attend, the Field bet scores points based only for the best Field finisher.
Current Owner: DetroitDad
Betting for value:
$21 on @Breich
$21 on @Mr Tree
$11 on Field

I'm the interest of full disclosure I am staying with the Zombies and will be playing the tournament in my pajamas. That level of comfort makes me completely untiltable and means I will be playing at optimum levels.

Need more info. Are the pajamas footies? :p

Unfortunately, count me out - I won't be there Wednesday. :(

Apparently the early rumors of my nonappearance were greatly exaggerated -- I will be in attendance at the @Poker Zombie abode Wednesday evening for the Crazy Pineapple Warm-Up Tournament. I will be accompanied by my lucky Poker Zombie-inscribed magic bullet card capper.

In addition, I bid:

$16 on Field
$1 on @BGinGA

FWIW, blue is my favorite color, and I have no criticism for the blind structure below..... in fact, it has been duly awarded the BGinGA seal of approval (baby seal, freshly clubbed).
Dunno how many players are expected, but two full tables could run as long as L20. Only question I have for @Poker Zombie is regarding the length of the blind level times -- how long until that first break after L7?
Here is the proposed structure for the Wednesday Warm-up Crazy Pineapple Tournament. Anticipating a single table, but Ben's locals may increase this number. If single table: T15,000 starting stacks, one rebuy before the end of the 1st break. You do not need to be felted to rebuy, but you forfeit any chips you have remaining in play. Rebuys receive 10% more chips (T16500).

*Ducks under hotel desk awaiting @BGinGA criticism*

Oh sure... You want level times too .

15 minute levels, 12 minute breaks (subject to go a minute or two longer during color-ups). Currently we are at 10, but 1-3 locals are expected. If it were hold'em, I would expect the tourney to last appx 6 hours. I suspect Crazy Pineapple will have greater variance and may end sooner, but I wasn't kidding when I said I never played Crazy Pineapple before (yet when Ben approached me for a warm-up event I suggested it, so you know I'm solid crazy, now lets see if I can be solid pineapple too).

$23 Breich
$16 BGinGA
$22 Field

Brett has informed me that he is officially out for Wednesday, he has been scratched.
